Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Are you getting in enough? protein and fluids? i know its hard but our bodies can go into starvation mode if we arent getting enough in and store it instead of buring the fat

PROTEIN WATER PROTEIN WATER (say it with me!!) Toss in a strawberry too...and be kind to the scales; THEY KNOW NOT what they do!

WELCOME TO YOUR FIRST STALL...here are the rules....:

1) DO NOT BEAT your significant other. Though they are usually responsible for anything that goes wrong, this is NOT their fault!

2) Scales have feelings too!! Ignore them & THEY WILL COME CRAWLING BACK, BEGGING FOR FORGIVENESS!!!

3) Stick to the plan...it works with the pouch and will keep your body's reaction moving in the right direction!

4) DON"T PANIC....don't go out and eat Krispy Kremes in revenge, and watch out for eggs....they can come back and BITE ya in the tush!

Keep smiling, keep you chin up, and keep your eye on the prize....you WILL get there!

This message brought to you by RR's resident staller!

The only protein I am getting is if I eat cheese and whatever protein is in what I eat. I haven't started taking any type of protein stuff ta all. I wonder if I need to call the dietician at my doctor's office.

You're still early out, your body is adjusting.
Always keep in mind your weight will go down, not in one smooth fell swoop, but in humps and bumps.
Your will lose some lbs, the body will adjust, then lose some more.
At this stage, concentrate on getting in the instructed amounts of fluids and protein, exercise what you can, throw out the scale, and get weighed, only at your drs visits.
You'll be losing your inches around this time, too.
(((((HUGS))))) Hang in there you are doing fine, and what's going on is quite normal.

Actually, I think I started the protein supplements in my 3rd week...calcium kicked in week 2, then protein week 3. You are close to that, though EVERY doctor has a different regiment! Check with your nut...they may have some suggestions!

Thanks Kathy! That was cute. I needed the smiles but I'm still wondering what I'm doing wrong.

Doc is right....this has happened to many of us first out. Just keep on keeping on. Forget about that scale for now. It will play with your mind. Good luck.

Thanks Doc. At least I know this is normal and I am not failing at trying to make this work. I go back to the doctor on 11/6 and I will ask them then about what I need to start taking.

Hang in there and yes your still early out. Your body is still adjusting and I know its easier said than done but the scale does stall. It goes in spurts that is for sure. So hang in there and it will happen.
