|  Tried Something New Well, I got the courage up to try something new last night for dinner. I cooked a huge meal for the family  and I steamed some broccolli. After I steamed it, I sprayed it with that "I Can't Believe it's Not Butter" spray. Oh my gosh, it was delicious.  Of course, I could only eat a few bites, but I had been craving broccolli and it was sooooo good. Go figure. I never imagined craving something that was actually good for me.

| I am so determined to get the scales to move. I have been so aggravated lately. The scales haven't moved in well over a week. It makes me wonder if this is going to work for me. I am almost panicing.

They don't tell you before surgery that Pouchy will have a mind of its own.....and you have no control over this! You are VERY early out...and when's the last time you've lost this much weight in such a short time span? Keep your eye on the prize hun...and don't panic or get discouraged...we are all on this roller coaster together, and I assure you....you are doing NOTHING wrong!!! (see my thread on the voices...you'll get a kick out of it!!!) |

| Thanks for the encouragement. One of the attorneys where I work talked to me during lunch today and said that his brother had the surgery done a couple of years ago. He said the process may be slow in the beginning, but he said "you'll look up 6 months from now and wonder where you went". That helped me feel better too.
