Default Salad?

I am wondering how salad affects everyone? I ate some yesterday, felt great. Then I was thinking maybe the digestion may be to hard on me. Any thoughts

Also can you guys tell me about the strawberries?I need all the help i can get.

As most of you know i have been struggling to lose the weight. So this morning i sneak onto the scales and seems my weight is dropping again, so i think I was just in a early stall. VERY EARLY!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I would say your too early out for both salad and berries. I think but Im not sure that i was like 2 months or more for both of those. Just do what your surgeon suggests for this stage of the game. It will happen. give it time. Your body is healing and adjusting still. I think your trying to rush things. It takes time. Hang in there.

Thanks!...I haven't tried berries, but my doc said I could have them. Everything now seems to be trial and error for me....The salad didn't make me sick, but was wondering if it was a good choice.

I have had salad and it tasted wonderful with the last of the season's fresh tomatoes. The only problem I found it that it takes forEVER to chew lettuce into mush~!

I don't understand why you would want to fill up your pouch with salad. You are very early out and people at this stage usually are struggling to just get in all of their protein. Are you keeping track of how much protein you are getting each day?

Did your surgeon or nutritionist tell you how much protein you must get each day? It's usually around 60 - 70 grams which is a lot when you can only eat about 4oz at a time. If you are eating all your protien, I'm amazed you have room for anything else.

I still have not eaten salad or bread...but I have a very finicky(sp) pouch. I struggle every day to just find something that will agree. Take your steps slow.

I add protein to my salad. I use mozerella cheese and sometimes bacon on it. I also use cottage cheese as the dressing, sounds weird, I know but it is really yummy. When I was in college, I used to eat salad with peamut butter on the side as the dressing. Maybe I should try that again.

My tastes have changed so much that the only things that I can stand without gagging is yogurt and cottage cheese. Frankly, it gets pretty boring, so the salad is sometimes a nice treat~

I Agree With Not Quite Barbie- You Are Very Early Out, I Would Concentrate More On The Protein. Hun The Protein Will Keep You Healty And It Also Helps You Lose The Weight. Im Surprized You Have The Room For The Salad Or Are You Eating The Salad At The Same Time As Your Protein? You Should Only Eat Your Protein First With All Meals. When I Was At Your Stage I Struggled To Fit All My Protein In.

Its Funny Because I Was Just Asking Everyone At My Surgeons Office About Salad Yesterday Because I Want Some So Bad. Most Of Them Tried It At 6 Months Out. I Guess I Can Wait An Other 3 Months. Especially Since I Tried Bread Recently And Boy Did I Get Sick!!!!!!! Im Not Brave Enough To Try The Salad Yet. Lol
