| I'm REALLY GLAD I did this, BUT.....
I'm wondering for everyone else....what are the things you miss since having this surgery?
I personally miss 2 things MOST OF ALL....:
1) Taking advil. I have arthritis in my knees and tylenol just plain SUX!
2) Drinking 8 gallons of SWEET TEA with all my meals! I'm from the South folks....sweet tea is a STAPLE here! I miss drinking with my meals period...I've resorted to clock watching after I eat so I can have something to drink!
What do YOU MISS since surgery?

i miss steak!! I miss..... i think that is really about it, when i think about it. I actually can eat just about everything, i just can't eat as much, oh wait, i know what i miss, BREAD, the good kind, like breadsticks from Olive Garden, or the biscuits from Red Lobster, all that yummy bread they give you in the restraunts that is used to fill up on before i ate my dinner, oh gee, yea i miss that!!! big time.

Hmmmmmm your making me think hard Kath. I guess I too am so glad I have done this but nothing really I miss a ton. I really thought i would be missing my diet cokes but its wierd I dont. I do miss drinking right after a meal or with it. Like you said, we are clock watchers now. Certain times I do miss my Advil when i have a headache, your so right Tylenol doesnt do it at all for me either. And Loretta Im sorry but I can eat steak. It sits so well with me, especialy the steak from Outback, but I know alot of people cant tolerate it. So anyways, I am rambling I dont truly truly miss any thing so bad I guess.

It's funny...I don't really miss any specific foods...I was never a huge soft drink person....of all the things I miss, it's not really food!

I too miss advil moist of all. It truly is a wonder drug. I also miss going out to dinner and ordering anything I want, knowing that it won't make me sick. But the biggest thing of all is drinking with my food. Funny, how that is such a big deal for most of us. But really, none of these are a huge deal with me, just little things that I notice.

I am with you Kath.... I miss drinking tea with my meals. I have become a clock watcher too. Maybe I should get a stop watch and just click it when I take the last bite...LOL.
I do miss chips and salsa .... making a whole meal out of them.
