So..Jerry and I were talking....and he's waiting on his surgery date....I reached a realization in my conversation with him...(and BOOTS & I talked about this some too!) It's not about: the foamies the pain the food the protein the exercise the extra skin THE HARDEST part of this journey is getting your self-image in line with your weight loss! I see the pictures...I know my energy has increased, I feel better....but somewhere deep inside, that "fat mentality" lives on. I think the mental part of this roller coaster is the most difficult and will be the most challenging to overcome!!! I've fought weight my entire life, and while my body is changing sizes weekly, it''s going to take a while to rehab my mind! Keeping it real, and my eye on the prize!!! |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I know how you feel everyone keeps telling me that im looking great and that they can tell that i have lost 40 pound. i can feel in my clothes but when i look in the mirror i dont see it. When i about 21 i ate hardly nothing and exercised for like 3 hours a day. i was obsessed and anorexic and weighed 115 pounds (which i gained back like 50 pound that year and kept going up) but when i looked in the mirror i still saw a fat girl that everyone would be staring at, because i looked so fat. I hope this time i wont have that problem. Maybe im old enough now that i will be comfortable with my body and how i look and feel about myself.
