Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Smile Hello Lisa

Hi Lisa, I just read your 5 day get back plan. Do you think you can do this plan if you just had surgery 5 months ago? I seem to be at a stand still. I am also obsessed with weighing myself and don't know how to stop. Did you or anyone have this problem?
Thanks, Bonnie

Hi Bonnie, I wanted to comment on the weighing yourself. I am only just 6 weeks out and I stoped weighing daily around two weeks ago. I totally understand you. I feel like my scale is a drug. It talkes all my will power to not get weighed everday. I just went cold trukey. I only get weighed once a week now. If you need to put the scale in a hard to reach place. Fill you mind with working your pouch and staying away from the scale. It's hard I know. but I feel much better that I only weigh myself once a week now. On the days you get weighed and stay the same or gain a few onces it is very discouraging. With weighing once a week we have a much better shot at seeing a loss each time. You can do it GO COLD TURKEY!!!! with the scale. Good Luck.

Renee, Thanks for the response! I do need to stop weighing . I know it is not emotionally healthy for me. I live in a household where everyone uses it and there is constant sweets and breads around. It is so hard to say no. I am committed to losing though and not going to go through all this surgery and expense for nothing! I made the move now I just need to get back to where I was a few months ago. Thank you so much for the encouragement. It really does help to have a support system!!! HUGS Bonnie

Lisa, Thanks for the plateau breaker info. It looks like I need to pretty much go back to the basics. I feel hungry all the time so maybe I am not getting enough protein. Thank you for all the help....Bonnie

Thanks, Lisa - I will go and pick up an orange on the way to work. I've really been into the carbs lately so this will be good for me.

I think I'll go back and read the 5 day site while I'm having my coffee, just to refresh my memory on what I'm doing all 5 days. Today is easy (to remember anyway) - just liquid.

Happy Day One!

Chrissy
