Default Are your pre-surgery medical problems disappearing?

Hi all--I know I am only 2 weeks out, but I have noticed that my blood pressure is back to normal and I am ready to go off meds.

I have psoriasis primarily on my knees and elbows and I have noticed that it has slowed down to the point that I have only needed my topical cream about once per week.

When I was at my pre op visit I spoke with the nurse about this and she said wouldn't it be interesting to see if it clears up even more and possibly be a food allergy.

The only other thing I have noticed is that I had my monthly cycle 2 weeks before surgery and it came again 1 week post op. I can only think that with all of the internal changes that my cycle is trying to get back on track again. Before surgery I would only have a cycle about once every 4 to 6 months.

Also I have Rheumatoid arthritis and have not been on meds for about 9 months as I had to go off of the meds to have surgery. I have not had a flare up at all and am not on any arthritis meds at all.

Are any of you finding little or big changes in your own health since the surgery? The only thing I don't like since the surgery is not being able to sleep either on my side or tummy.

I am down 19 pounds and counting after 14 days! Hope all of you are doing well, too!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I've noticed my back and knees are not hurting as much, but they still hurt. Unfortunately, they aren't fixed, they just have a lot less strain on them!

Congtats on the 19 pounds so far!!!! Great job and keep it up. Yes I went off my blood pressure meds and I just feel so much better in general altogether.
Also my cycles have deifntely changed. My gyno warned me about this. I kept thinking that he didnt know what he was talking about since I have always been so regular. But he was right. Guess that is why he is the doctor and gets paid the big bucks right . Anyways, mine do come sooner now, like 20 or 22 days and much heavier and etc....I was told alot of it is due to the estrogen being stored in the fat cells.
