Default Day At The Gym

I finally did it. I went to the gym and joined yesterday. I went and worked out last night. I did

treadmill - 15 mins.
stationary bike - 15 mins.
elliptical machine - 2 mins. (don't laugh, this thing kicks my butt)

It's not as much as I wanted to do, but it's definitely better than I have been doing. I am even going back tonight to work out again.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Congratulations. I can't wait to get into the gym. I have been walking but it feels like I am slacking not going into the gym. I am hoping maybe next week my doctor will let me start the gym. I am thinking Curves. Has anyone tried them and what do you think about them?

Yeah, I felt so good after working out. I actually can't wait to go back tonight. I can't do any weights yet because I haven't been released to lift, but I know that will come soon enough.

Hey Christy - good for you!!! It does seem to get addictive. I did a trial at Curves (CC) and it was fine, a bit to "happy" for me but I do think it did some good. Now that I'm not going I can tell in my overall fitness level and my inches arent coming off like they were. I just added 2# hand weights to my upper body work out while walking - hope that works. Maybe I should start a low cost health club here......

I actually found a gym called Snap Fitness. They were $15 cheaper a month than the YMCA and they are open 24 hours a day/7 days a week. It was really nice.

We joined the Y for $60/mo for the whole family...they aren't open 24/7, but they do open early and stay open until 10 pm all nights but Sunday. My son/daughter go and last night, hubs was talking about joining me!

They have weight machines, free weights, indoor track, a climbing wall, tons of cardio equipment and a pool. They also have TONS of classes you can join....I liked that part too, though I have yet to participate in the classes!
