Default I will be amazed if I don't get an ulcer

I know this is off WLS topic, but I need to dump somewhere. What a horrible day I have had! First off, I am having cataract surgery in a couple of weeks. (on the day of an important mandatory meeting, so I now have tp drive 5 hours to a different location on a different day, instead of the one that is an hour away on that day) I went for a routine eye exam yesterday and have 20/400 vision in the eye with the cataract so I can hardly see. My preop appt. is actually tomorrow but for some reason they numbed, blinded and dialated both eyes yesterday without warning so I have spent the day unable to see, which made me miss some VERY important ordering deadlines for my business. Then today I go to my office for the first time since being in Vegas last week and get greeted with the fact that three of my key employees will not be returning to work this tax season for various reasons (one going south for the winter, 2 just got full time job offers). I own three H&R Block offices and training employees is not something that can just be done in a couple of months. So.........needless to say, I am in no way possible going to be able to staff all three offices so I made the decision to not open the smallest one that I have in a local well known supercenter. Well, not so easy....apparently I can not just do that even though I have not signed the final contracts for this year with them. If I don't open I will still have to pay the rent for the three months which is in the five digits. (all for a 6x15 foot area in front of the cash registers) The contract states I will be open for 65 hours a week and there is no possible way that can happen. It is a mess!!

Then for the first time since surgery, I was full of energy, came home, did some laundry, straiightened the house, cooked dinner, feeling really good. Well, I made the mistake of eating a spoonful of mashed potatoes and one of corn. I immediately fell into a coma and slept for three hours, couldn't keep my eyes open. I have never dumped before, but I assume that was what this was??? I have eaten mashed potatoes before, but never corn. It was horrible, I couldn't keep my eyes open, sitting straight up in a chair.

So, tomorrow is another day..........another eye exam in the morning, haircut at noon and then who knows..............All I know is that I can not have another day like today!!

By the way....anyone want to come to Michigan and work for me. I am really a lot of fun!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I am so sorry that everything is hitting you at once like this. And yes, the corn would be the culprit to your dumping. I can not even touch the stuff anymore.

I was told to stay away from corn, maybe that is what did it. For me it would be the potatoes, I can not even look at them with out feeling ill, and If I lived closer I would work for you, I have always wanted to learn taxes. Today is a new day and a new start!!!

Tried a bite of corn last night and threw my guts up. I avoid potatos..and starches/carbs in general...

Hope things get better.....remember...we can't, HE CAN, and we need to let him!

Oh work is driving me nuts. I will come work for you. I may be a bit late since Im in NY but I will help you out. LOL
Sorry you had such an awful day. But you have a great attitude. Tomorrow is another day. you start over and move on. Good for you for having a good attitude. Im thinking maybe you felt like that with the potatoes and corn if you didnt have any protein first maybe?? Just a guess.
Here is to today being a better day.
