KATH- I FOUND WHEN I CHANGED MY CALORIE INTAKE FROM 500 TO 750 IT MADE A LOAD OF A DIFFERENCE IN MY LOSING WT!!! I GUESS 500 WASNT ENOUGH AFTER A WHILE. THEN THIS PAST WK I HAVE REACHED AS HIGH AS 900 AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT I HAVE LOST 3LBS AND THE WK IS NOT EVEN OVER YET AND I HAVENT WEIGHED MY SELF IN 2 DAYS, WAITING TILL MONDAY. I DONT WANT TO STAY AT 900 THAT WAS JUST A FLUKE THING I GUESS CAUSE TOM IS NEXT WK SO IM SO HUNGRY BUT I AM NOW BACK TO 750 SOME DAYS LESS DEPENDING. TRY IT ONE WK AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I've heard that...and there are many times when I'm over 500 calories....the biggest difference is when I'm active in the gym....but that's just me...I know other things work for other people...I also do best when the protein/water intake is HIGH!

I'm just really glad we have this board to bounce things off each other...you guys are my 2nd family!

Boots, maybe you are contagious. I just can't seen to get full today no matter what I eat. I feel hungry all the time, even after eating. I still eat mostly cottage cheese and yogurt, I guess I need to eat something with a little more bulk. If you find the answer, fill me in!

My grouchy pouch doesn't like meat or chicken very well. I tend to 'yak' with thre heavier things. I di have a protein bar today and a handful of almonds. I hate the overfull feeling I get with heavier things. And actually, until today, I have been sastisfied with just cottage cheese, a few strawberries, yogurt and SF CIB.

Hmm, well, not to upset you, but when you reach goal, your maintenance cal is probably going to be around 1200-1400 kcals.
900 is still the losing cals nutritionally speaking, because our basal daily requirement is 1200 kcal for even the small person.

Do you know that i have not counted calories one day since having surgery. I have no clue as to how many calories i consume in a day. I am more concerned with fat content and protein and sugar contents that i dont bother with calories. So far that has worked for me.....You guys are doing great.
