Thumbs down My weight is plateauing again!!!

UUUUGGGHHHHH, I just hate this!! tierd from work! miss the kids and can't play with them! I'm trying to eat right and without vomiting! and have no time/energy to work out after work!!

I'm thinking of waking up early (~4:30AM) workout for an hour, have a shower then get to work! that's the only way I guess!.

I'm limiting my canbohydrate intake to one portion a day, then have protiens vegi's and fruits. But with my limited physical activity I think I'm toasted. My weight is still the same for the last one and a half week.

Any suggestions?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hmmm, according to fr1endly2, you don't call it a plateau unless it lasts from 4-6 weeks. Don't be discouraged, you are doing fine so far, and you will be able to win this game, but be patient with yourself, or you're going to mentally wear yourself out. Besides, even if the numbers of your scale is not moving, the numbers of your inches should be. Aren't your clothes a little bit looser? Aren't your shoes a little bit big? Isn't it easier to fit into a chair? It's those little and subtle things that count.

I am sure your looseing inches and some people loose in spirts after
surgery and you will learn your looseing pattern. I have heard some
dont loose for 3 weeks then they whooshie one week alot...
all kinds of patterns. YOU will learn your but i really suggest you
weigh in once a month so that it doesnt discourage you!

I don't weigh myself everyday!!! I weigh every Thursday and it's been the same for more than 2 weeks. I know that what I have built in 35 years won;t go in an eye blink. But there is a voice in my head that tells me I'm eating wrong or if I eat that small bite of a bread or a pasta or anything that is rich with carbohydrate that opsss I did something very wrong and see the result now!!! 2 weeks without loosing a pound!! isn't that the main goal of the surger; even if I slip with small portions they won't really matter like before coz my digestive system now is more forgiving?!!
I hate my body I just hate it!!!

(((HUG)))) chuppygirl...TIGHT CAREING HUGS.
its not an easy way out this surgery.
AND itsh ard. I really think u should have your
husband put your scale away and use it monthly.
IF you eat with the rules for the surgery
all will go fine and your going to TRANSFORM
into that beautiful gal from your dream.
UNFORTUNATELY, even with the surgery
it takes time. I know i felt the similar when
i was were you were that it wasnt comeing
off fast enough, why cant i see it...whats
wrong am i gonna fail this too...these are
all normal phases with the surgery.
DEPRESSION as well.
YOU carry alot a mom, wife and your
back to work! YOUR going to do fine
and your body will release the extra
at its pace!!!!
KEEP sipping the water!
getting in lots of protein
and your gonna do fine.

I agree with Lisa, hang in there and you will see it happen. The same thing happened with me and being on South Beach, I wouldn't lose any for a couple of weeks and then almost overnight it would move 5-6 lbs.... don't kick yourself for your little woopsies... heavens knows I am having my fair share....(snuck in a chicken nugget from Wendy's tonight..shhhhh, don't tell ) Maybe it could be partially due to the incredible stress you are under too, sometimes our bodies cope differently with stress like what you are going through. In the meantime, huge hug and prayers on your behalf.

((((((((((((HUGE HUG))))))))))))))))

Also, a while back I heard from Lisa that you don't drop inches and weight at the same time!! Hang in there...there is NO WAY this won't work...I went thru 2 weeks without changing too....

Hey, and we are ONLY 6 weeks post op tomorrow and wednesday!!!~ YOU ARE GREAT!!!

Just check yourself....Are you getting at LEAST 50g of protein a day???

USE the "3 bite Rule..."

1st Bite: PROTEIN
wait 3 minutes
2nd Bite: VEGGIE
wait 3 minutes
3rd Bite: ANYTHING YOU WANT!!

I got this advise from the "Big T" himself.... and it's been a great way to monitor myself!!!
