Unhappy My hair is falling :(

Stress, anxiety, depression, lack of minerals, dehydration, dieting, weight platueaing!...

I have all of those combined together. My hair looks horrible and damaged.
I loose hair everyday, I get scared in the shower half of my hair falls while shampooing! while rinsing, while conditioning, while hair drying, while sleeping!
I'm half bold! the end of my hair is damaged! and one more thing I have more white hair post-op I DUNNO WHY?!!!!!
I used to have maybe in total 6 white hairs now I have more than the tripple!! that scares me

I desperately wanna loose weight to look younger, not older!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

CHUPPY! THIS IS A COMMON PHASE FOR POST
OP....nothing we can do about it
I did the biotin supplement (well before surgery), wash hair with premium hair salon products NEXIUM and its happening.
THIS caused me much depression as a fat girl i had taken
much pride in my hair..being i didnt have the same options
in clothing...so when this normal phase began i was very
upset.

PLEASE keep in mind you wont go totally bald.
ITS a thinning/shedding process. I am still looseing
at nearly a year out but i do have new growth
fuzzies too.

I will add that I am the only one that notices and my hair
dresser. SO i been keeping positive about it.
I had to also cut my hair much shorter because of this
phase.

((HUG)))) but its just another part of the surgery we cannot
do much about but get thru this stage. Actually i think also the less hair looks the same on the SMALLER body now and thats why others dont notice what i doo! AT the peak of my looseing...my scalp was showing alot on the top of my head were i style it very much. OH well...

I am 9 months out and still losing hair. Not at the rate I did right after suregery but it is still coming out. I have noticed a lot more gray too. I know it won't all fall out but I wish it would stop. I am not dehydrated and I get 60 to 70 grams of protein a day so I don't know what else to do. I am not lacking in any vitamins or minerals either.

ok this scares me a little
as friend said most others don't notice but being fat i too am vain about my hair. hang in there though because the surgeon says it's only temporary and you will still be growing hair while lossing hair. not sure what's up about the white hairs but maybe they were just covered and you didnt' notice them as much,

((HUGS))

its a phase of rapid weight loss....i lost for a few months when i did atkins.
I truly believe its a ketosis thing.
I too am very good on my protein and water.
ITS just another phase and i deal with it.
PROLY looks just as full on the thin
me as it did on the big fat me!
(if that makes sense)

Oh my sweet twin....
I was combing my hair today as we were on our way out to dinner....and my hubby said.....OMG, wow....look how much hair you are loosing.
It actually was the first I've noticed! WOW...

I don't know....I know Unlike Tweety...I'm not doing so well in my "all over diet".....I don't know if this is just a thing I will constantly deal with...but, I've always struggled with getting my "water" in....eating at normal "meal hours" ....and taking my vitamins.

At first I thought I was having a problem b/c I didn't like them that much....but now I got the Bariatric Advantage ones...and I keep forgeting to take them!!

I'm worried that this will make my situations WORSE!!
It must be a 'THANG' with heavy people....I keep hearing while we are overweight...we all have a vanity thing about our hair! I feel the same way....I've always loved my hair...no matter the color, cut....etc. I love to change up my look.

In fact...I am going to my "GAL" this week....I'm going to go closer to the "undercolor" of my hair with a touch of highlights here and there...instead of completely BLONDE!! I'll send you a little pic in email.... before I post my monthly pics.

Well....I guess I better get back to bed....I fell asleep in my favorite chair with the laptop on my lap. I awoke to the French Open on the TV....and couldn't resist to watch Martina Hingis playing...so, now...I've watched her game and another....I've got a ton of packing to do...so I better go get some rest!!

Love you my Soul SIS....hang in there. Your husband LOVES your hair....and HE is the only one that sees it....you look beautiful with your head covered...so most people will not even see this little hair loss!~

:*

Cant wait to see your 8 week photos i bet your body is changeing.
YEAH, i had bad blues, lots of crying for several months. I dont like
to take meds for such so i just stuck it out and managed. BUT looking
back maybe i should have used meds to help get thru it.

Yeah dont us big gals love our hair...honestly, the thinner hair is okay
on the small transformed me. but i just want it back, full and thick but
i imagine that will all happen in year two post op.

LOVE YA
