| Super Moderator  |  Going MIA again!! Folks, I am going MIA again for a couple of days over the weekend. Off to Kyoto, a.k.a 1200 year capital, the city that was the capital--Miyako-- of Japan from 794-1869. Location of Kyoto (Tokyo is about where the arrow of the box borders on the main island and the Pacific Ocean.) Historical Kyoto World Heritage Monuments in Kyoto It is a 2.5 hour trip by Shinkansen, the bullet train, and some friends and I are gong off to check out stuff for a planned class reunion trip. Have to start packing now.
