Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  a little venting Someone i used to go to high school with stumbled upon my page on myspace and emailed me asking me to tell her everything i know about WLS, risks, and how to get her insurance to pay. and then she made a statement to the effect of neding it done quick because she had "let herself go" *sigh* here's where i vent: i am NOT the poster child for bypass. am i wrong for thinking people should take the time to research this themselves and THEN ask around?? i mean i cannot and will not sit and recite everything that i have read and come to know for someone who is literally looking for the quick fix. it would be one thing if she posed her questions differently but i know her well and she is a corner cutter so to speak. i might be blowing this out of proportion, but i mean DAMN, does anybody look into things for themselves anymore???

It's those who cut the corners who don't do well because they are not prepared, then go say all the bad things about WLS because they don't understand the reality of the surgery. (((((((HUGS))))))
