Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  OT horrible week in my little town Wow, what a week we have had here in my little town of 4000 people. Sunday night one of our local police officers shot his wife and then shot himself They both died. He did this in front of their two year old daughter, when the police got to the home they had to pry the little girl off her dead mom's body. It is just so sad, everyone knows everyone around here, and there are a lot of mixed feelings on this whole situation. Apparently she had told him she was moving out last week because of his mental,physical, and verbal abuse and he just snapped. She was afraid to report the abuse because he was a police officer and she felt that they would all stick together and nobody would beleive her. Now two children are motherless, one is parentless (she had a son from a previous marriage) and two young people are dead. Then on Monday, apparently a note was found in the girls bathroom at the high school stating that "she was going to die on Tuesday and everyone at school would go with her". So the school was on lockdown while the local and Michigan State Police searched the school, The next day, a parent found a 22G unspent shell on the sidewalk by the front door of the school. Again, the school was locked down and the place was searched . Luckily nothing was found either day, but with all the school shootings lately, one never knows. My son is in middle school, which is right next door and all those kids were scared for their lives. Everyone feels that parents should have been informed on Monday about the threat so they could decide whether or not they wanted to send thei children to school. The situation was mishandled from the beginning and now the superentendent is on the chopping block. It is so sad that times have come to this. We live in a small town because awful things like these three incidents don't happen here. Until now......... This was the first murder we have had in our city that anyone can ever remember The whole town is grieving for one or both of these young people. Some people are protesting because the police officer is having a "Police funeral", being buried in uniform, shotgun salute, etc, they actually picketted the funeral home. Lots of mixed feelings because he is actually a murderer and some do not feel he should be honored this way. l myself have mixed feelings, yes he was a murderer, but he was obviously a sick man. He did serve our city for 7 years and was also a volunteer fireman. But he did kill his wife before killing himself. I just don't know............I feel so terrible for both families involved, they lost their children, how awful. They need to grieve in peace. I just want my lovely little town to get back to normal. Everything just seems so messed up.............

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Courtnney, Im so sorry for what has happened in your hometown. I do understand what your dealing with. I live 30 mins off campus from the Virginia Tech Massacure. That hit us all so very hard. As far as your school situation goes.......there is never a hand book for such things. The rules are only given and made as they go. I feel bad for this gentleman having to endure this. Gone are the days when I went to school in a rural community when the boys would have there rifles in the back windows of there trucks wating to go deer hunting after school. Having there knifes on there belts for when they shot they deer they could field dress it. The little pocket knifes they all had because there dads carried one so did there grandfathers. Its horrible anyone would picket a funeral home. I hope your community can one day lay this to rest. Its probally gonna be one of the hardest things they can do. I pray for all of you. |
