Boy, reading your post really hit home. First off, you are only human. Remember that. I have done that on several occasions. I know it isn't the right thing to do, but I felt, at the time, like I couldn't get enough to eat. Not a large amount at a sitting, but all day long I had to be digging in something. At the end of the day, I just sat there and thought to myself, What a freaking pig". I know I didn't eat that much food, but it was nonetheless, grazing. The scale did not move for me either, as others have said as well, but I made it a point not to do that any time after that in the near future. I didn't, for a long time after that. I feel good about that, and now know, that I have gained alot more control over my life from having surgery, and losing all the weight I want. I never want to go back to that ever again. Don't be real hard on yourself Kath, for doing that. You did right, by getting on the wagon again, the next day. GREAT JOB!  mike
