Lightbulb Hello all ; )

Hello everyone!! I haven't been on in awhile so I've been doing some catching up. WOW!! everyone is doing so good. WTG!! Armywife you look AWESOME!!!

I do have a couple of questions.....today I start phase III of my diet. I am struggling with things to eat. There are some things that I think will stay down but they don't and other things do but aren't high in protein. I get nauseated when I put the protein powder in some things it just makes me wanna !!! Any suggestions would help. I started a new job and having things at work to eat are a pain. I don't take a lunch break because I work 6 hours so I eat at my desk. I do have soup at hand but that gets old quick. Besides, it's liquid and I am worried that I am not getting enough nutrition.

On another note, I am going to kickboxing class tonight and I am ready to kick it in the butt!!! Love you all!!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I use the whey protein from GNC, it mixes with 1 cup of water, for 20 grams of protein. As for lunch I really like the soy chips, my favorite brand is Eatsmart, found at Raleys 20 chips for 7 grams of protein, and I like the mixed nuts from Costco, about a handful is 5 grams of protein, and I like the string cheese packets, dont have the protein info on them. The protein bars from South Beach Diet are pretty good for protein and not so high in carbs and sugars. I also like beef jerky, I was afraid at first to try it but it goes down pretty well for me and it takes awhile to chew on it so you feel like you are snacking for awhile. Hope some of this helps!

Default thank you

Thank you for all of your suggestions! Yes, phase III is the soft/moist. These ideas for protein are great ideas!!! I love this site!!! I decided to hold off on kickboxing until I go to my first post-op appointment next week. I was reading another post and I had better check with dr first.

I did make egg salad on 1/2 piece of wheat toast and it went down really well. I also have 1tbsp of peanut butter and 2 saltines for a snack.

THANK YOU~~

i think you can have stuff cooed in the corck pot too if im not mistaken. that was a lifesaver for me. chicken in reduced fat cream of mushroom soup, or light gravy. that always goes over well for me. even with veggies. you can put it on in the morning and it's ready by the time you get home. it made me feel normal to eat stuff like that lol! just a suggestion.
