| Cub Reporter | Hi there everyone. First and foremost thankyou all for the prayers and thoughts and best wishes you all gave me before I went away for my plastics, it's a great thing we all do here for each other! I'm very pleased to say everything went really well, and I'm well on the way to recovery. Sure it was long - 7 & 1/2 hours! and sure it hurt like bloody hell - phew for the morphine! and I missed my family so much that I havent been on the computer since I got home opting to spend every second with them! But I would do it again in a second. The surgeon removed 2.7 kg ( about 6 pound) of excess tissue from my stomach and 200grams ( about half a pound) of skin of each arm. Even though still swollen and a little bruised it is looking amazing - my arms look teeny tiny and my stomach is beautifully flat! I'm still wearing compression bandages and all the suture lines are still covered with tape but during dressing changes I look and look and the scars are looking like the healing very well and will be very minimal - although the scarring was never much of an issue for me I kind of see them as my war wounds - something to boast about my weightloss acheivement. I've been reading through the forums catching up with what you've all been doing and will keep checking in. Yours nipped and tucked Heidi |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Welcome back Heidi. How you feeling now?? I hope that everything is OK with you. I have to admit that it feels horrible after the lipo suction that I had back on 1997, on my thighs and hips (didn't change me a lot) and I didn't maintain it. I was over weight everywhere not only in these 2 particular places. Bruces were sooo dark, I couldn't walk or jump out of the bed, couldn't go to the washroom by myself. It was a lot of pain. But what a shame I didn't maintain it. I hope this time I'm more sincere with myself. I want to reach my weight goal and I'm diffenetly going to go for the plastic surgery after I get my 4th kid. Tell us about your updates please. It's an educational process to all of us if not particularly fro me. Happy to see you again. Hang in there sooner we'll have Miss WLS competetion going around Looking forward to see new pictures |

| Cub Reporter | it'll be for weeks tomorrow since my surgery, and everything is going so well I can't believe it. I"ll have a six week check up in a few weeks, where my surgeon will take after photos so I'll get copies of my before and afters so I can post them. Phew that'll be a huge brave step - but I'd love to be able to show you all what an incredible difference it has made. Heidi |

Height: | Wow Heidi I so appreciate your willingness to share your pics with us. I am so curious to see the results for your surgery. I plan at this time to try to get the plastics done that I feel I need when I am at that stage. It is great to hear that you are glad you had it done. I hope that when the time comes I have your upbeat attitude. Thanks again for sharing this all with us. Janae |
