Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Thanks!!! You all are the SWEETEST!!! HERE I AM!!! Doc was right -- I was working on a charity event feeding homeless women and their children for Thanksgiving...oh my! It was absolutely AMAZING!!! We had some donors give $$...and I had it catered...and it was a HUGE success! We did it the day before Thanksgiving....what a blessing! Then...later that night on the upper west side (in NYC) they have the Macy's Balloon fest - where you can walk by all the blown up balloons and view them....wow! THAT was extremely crowded...and sooooo fun at the same time. Here are some fun pics --     On Thanksgiving morning we got up and trekked into the city and had a wonderful front row seat to the Parade!!   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We had an amazing holiday....I hope you all did as well. I remember last year was more difficult b/c of "food issues" - it was mentally difficult - and I WANTED to eat...but thankfully I was only 7mos out -- and couldn't!! I'm sure many of you think that way now too! Well...you'll be happy to hear -- I'm still doing well....I did have some "slip ups" and made some "poor choices" (even had a dumping episode...not b/c of sweets...but too many carbs! I'm sure you all know how carbs transfer into sugar...and...well you know the rest!! Ahhh.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anyhow...now it's COLD - and absolutely GORGEOUS here in NYC...I love Christmas in New York City - and it's been wonderful. We had our first snow on Sunday...and it's freezing today - and feels like 21* with the wind chills! All I have to say...BURRR!! THANKS to PooPoo for starting this sweet thread...and thanks to everyone for looking for me! I'm sorry I've been vacant. I know it's soooo necessary to have the 'oldies' around...I cherished the input of EVERYONE when I was at your stages! SOOOOO....I'll say this: PLEASE...if you EVER have any specific needs...have any specific questions...or need encouragement -- or a ear to vent in -- or a shoulder to cry on.... PLEASE "PM" (private msg.) me....OK?? I know that the RR site sends an email when a PM comes to my box....and I always try to get back to ANYONE that sends me a PM. (hopefully in a timely manner!) Isn't it funny...you were thinking of me on my birthday! I had the MOST AMAZING birthday! My hubby completely spoiled me....I was literally a "queen for a day"....I was in the city for little excursions with friends (w/o Isabella - she stayed with a sweet friend in Long Island...and had a sleep over!! ) AND...I had the afternoon at the spa....AHHHH! Message....manicure/pedicure....facial....make-up application -- it was fantastic! And then dinner with Russ and friends at this WONDERFUL Israeli restaurant in mid-town! LOVED IT!!! Thanks for thinking of me PooPoo!
