I am 6 days post surgery, im hungry, counting down the days I can crunch on something. day 9 im on clear liquids. My shorts are still tight, when does the gas stop and I start feeling better? Im not taking pain pills much, a few times yesterday, none today. more for stomach spasms.

As for weight loss I would have to say we are all different and even though the shorts are still snug you may have lost somewhere else besides your waist. I was constantly checking how my waistbands fit at first, not realizing my tops were fitting looser. Hang in there it does get easier!

BUT like preivously said i actually lost my waist last and lost in the face and upper chest areas first. GOOD LUCK! dont worry you will be a success!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | i didnt really have gas by the time i got home. i had no idea how much i was losing until i went back to the dr to have the drain pulled. it's best you stay away from the scale because you may have gained from the iv's so the inital loss might not seem like a lot and may bum you out. everyone loses differently though.
