Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You gotta have some. Im sure someone can tell you how much but you have to keep some in your diet. One for brain fuel. Another is if you go carb less and start having them again.... you will notice it fast usually in the tummy area. Let someone a little more smarter in this than my self guide you but you cant totally give them up! BTW HELLO ASHLEY !

Ash

I Also Try To Stay Away From Carbs But Not Totally Like Ms Vickie And Doc Will Also Probably Say. You Can Eat Healthy Carbs Like Fruits (i Love Bananas) Also I Have Bought Online Cereal That Is All Protein And It Taste Like Apple Cinnamon Cheerios And Does Not Trigger A Want For More Cabrs Because It Has So Much Protein In It Like 9 Grams Just For One Ounce Of Cereal. Also If Im Desperate For Crunch Snack I Also Bought Protein Chips. Also These Do Not Trigger A Want For More Carbs Because It Has Like 8 Grams Of Protein In That As Well. And Boy Are They Good. So Hun There Ways Around The Carb Devil. Lol Lol

Good Luck You Are Doing Great!!!!!!!!!

Ashely, is there any certain time of the day in particular that you want to snack on carbs?

The feeling of hunger, among other things, can be a symptom of low blood sugar, rather than your pouch being completely empty.
The low blood sugar can be the result of dumping, even if you don't actually have dumping symptoms.
When this happens, your body (brain) orders you to get some carbs in to quickly raise the blood sugar. BUT, if you do exactly that, you go into another cycle of rapid rise of blood sugar -> rush of insulin to deal with the blood sugar and quickly remove it from the blood stream and push 'em into the cells -> sudden drop in blood sugar -> body (brain) thinks you need more sugar .... and on and on, in a repeat cycle.
The way to cut this cycle off is to get protein in first when you feel this hunger, then add a small amount of carbs. This will slow down the rise of blood sugar, so it will stay at a level that your body thinks is enough, but not too high for the insulin to come rushing to the rescue, nor too low that your brain yells "HUNGRY" again.

Another cycle to consider is, high blood sugar, for some people, trips the "happiness" "satisfaction" "calmness" "comfort" trigger for certian people. This is what carb addiction is. In this case, you need to keep the carbs at a level that doesn't trip the trigger, because the tripped trigger then will make you want to keep on tripping the trigger. Just like drug and alcohol addiction. In this case you will also need to find a better method of tripping the trigger. Exercise is one of these things. You are under a lot of stress these days, and because it's colder, you said that you can't exercise with the horses as much, and that lack of exercise that you enjoy, and satisfies you, may likely be making you turn to the carb trigger again.

Once you understand these cycles, you'll have a better handle to control your urges, and keep the carbs to the amount you need for your brain to work well, but not enough to make you get off track.

((((((HUGS)))))

i know without a shadow of a doubt that i am a carb addict! of the many many many, did i say many?? times that i have dieted i have been the most successful on Atkins. when trying a low calorie/low fat diet i get "acceptable" snacks and want the entire box once i get started. this doesn't happen to me on a low carb diet. unfortunately maintaining is my downfall because once i start consuming carbs i am just like an alcoholic with that first drink.
