Default no weight loss in 4 months!!

Yep, went to the Dr. and i have not lost any weight in 4 months, he said i was still in the 70=75% weight loss, which is the normal. but it just doesn't seem right. I quit losing way before my year date! I am not unhappy, i mean i am so thankful for the weight i have lost and that even though i haven't lost i stay about the same within 4-5 lbs all the time, i guess i just expected more. I guess i feel dissapointed.
The paperwork the Dr. gave me said i could possibly still lose inches, but...... i haven't done anything in these 4 months, i am not going to get my hopes up.
Sounds like i am ungrateful and whining, I'm not, i just expected or hoped for more. That is awful, i know.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Oh, Lch, you have done so WELL. You are only 5 pounds from your goal weight and you look absolutely amazing. I am so proud of you. You are such an inspiration on this site. Try not to get discouraged. I know that's easier said that done. (((HUGS)))

Christy, thank you, i really appreciate the kind words!! It is just hard when you expect more, but get less. It's like that catch 22, i am so happy and appreciative of what i have lost, and the better health etc... but still.. I guess "when is enough, enough". It also kinda makes me feel like i failed, or that i didn't do as well as others. I know everyone is different, but....
anyway, thanks again. it feels good just to say it (write it) out loud. And then deal with it, and keep going forward. I do realize that just because the honeymoon period didnt do what i thought, i still have the power to lose more on my own accord.

Yes, I agree with you Christy.

Lch, you HAVE done amazing! But I can understand your disappointment. Maybe try switching things up a little bit? Or maybe try the 5-day pouch reset that Lisa was talking about. It probably takes a little more "work" once you get this far out. I'm sooo not looking forward to that time! But you DO look amazing!!! And no, you're NOT whining!

No, we difinitely didn't take it as you whining. I understand that your frustrated. Look at it like this, maybe you didn't lose quite as much as some others because you may not have had quite as much to lose overall. I'm not sure what you were hoping for that you didn't get in the honeymoon stage, but I do know that you are only 5 pounds away from your goal. That in itself is AMAZING!!!

My bariatric coordinator told us we would probably lose about 75% of the excess body weight...but that we might have to really work at the remaining 25%. That was her average statistics...and everyone is different!

You have done a great job...and you look FANTASTIC!!!

Thanks to all of you!! I do know i am at what i had my goal weight set on, but when i look at what the Dr's report said i should weigh (which is 123) i am not even close. And the sad thing is, even though i feel i look good at where i am and i wouldn't mind if i just stayed right here, my BMI still shows that i am overweight.....
Again thanks guys!! you are all so wonderful.
