Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  Gray Hair ok.....*sigh* i'm 30. ive never dyed my hair EVER!!!! and all of a sudden, i have gone from natural black, to reddish brown to..........GRAY???????? and i am TOTALLY calling this a COMPLICATION of the surgery  LOL! i blame weight loss surgery HAHAHAHAAA. be it hormones, or whatever....I HAVE GRAY HAIRS ALL A LONG THE PART DOWN THE MIDDLE OF MY HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!seriously, is this related in some way?  LOL!

Weight Loss Method Physician Prescribed Diet/Exercise | Wow. I thought it was normal to start getting gray hairs in your 20's to early 30's! Does everyone think that's weird? I dye my hair and have since I was 23. I came home from giving birth to my son, pulled back my hair to wash my face, and there was a bunch of grey along my hairline--eeek. Haircolor emergency! It turned into a skunk streak along my left temple. Now... I have DEFINITELY noticed way more general gray coming in FASTER and a few in my EYEBROWS!!! That freaked me out. Can you say "PLUCK!"? I have always looked extremely young for my age (43), which is going to be real hard to keep up if my freakin' eyebrows turn white! Help! Mya |

| Big Loser | I didn't have my first gray hair until I was 35 - and pregnant with my son. I blame that first one and all the rest on HIM!!! I used to give my son a penny per hair (IF he got it from the root) to sit with tweezers and pull out gray hairs. I finally gave up and hit the bottle. He would be such a wealthy young man by now otherwise. Seriously though, I think it is safe to blame it on a complication of surgery, I wouldn't doubt it for a minute. Also, after having had anesthesia can do some weird things to hair, but I don't quite remember what. |
