Default Haven't been up to RR lately....

Hey guys...I haven't been on as much and I wanted to let you know why.

About 3 weeks ago, I got a letter following my mammogram. They told me there were suspicious spots...and we needed to take a better look. Another mammogram...and they ordered a biopsy. If you have never had a stereostatic needle biopsy of your breast, DO NOT sign up for one. I'd rather have my head shaved and my toenails pulled out than do this again. It was humiliating & painful. There's no doubt in my mind ALL of the breast machines were designed by a man. They put you on this table with a hole in the middle....you drop your boob in the hole...then they raise you up in the air and work under you. I felt like a freaking car being jacked up at the garage.

I am, however, pleased to report...it's only fibrocystic changes and some playsia word that has to do with my milk ducts. There are no cancerous or pre-cancerous cells!!!!!!!!!!

This has been eating at me for several weeks now....no sleep, not eating much...I've been way off track with the diet.....haven't been getting all my water in etc. Needless to say, i'm on another stall.....and only 3 pounds from onederland!!!!!!! I've been at 202 for nearly a week now......

ANYWAY...now that it's good news and my boob is SORE....hopefully, I will be here more, making everyone laugh, and posting more weight loss. I'm sorry I haven't been around much.....I hope you guys understand!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Awww (((((((HUGS)))))))
Kath, I am sooo glad to hear you're okay.

As for the machines.....you are soooo right most of the stuff are developed by men with only the thought of getting the best angle and of what's the simplest way for the examinor/dr/tech...yes, everything should be designed with patient input.

kath, so glad it turned out to be nothing. sorry for the stress it put you thru but glad you went thru with it. so many women dont want to know and let it go and of course , well...you know. but glad you are back.

as for onederland, you'll get there. i hate to say it but right where you are seemed to be the teetertotter area for most of us. it was TORTURE too. for now, put the scale away. you've been thru enough lol! bouncing on the cusp of onederland might take you over the edge. STEP AWAY FROM THE SCALES!!!! lol!

Kath so glad all is ok now. I have heard from many people that the process of getting things like that checked out are not nice. Im glad it was nothing serious. Hang in there and get back on track and you will break that 200 mark. I know you can do it.

Glad to hear that your...WHAT a relief!!!
I agree with you on the med equipment. If men had to have their cha-chas pulled, prodded and twisted things would change fast.

Bless your heart Kathy. I have had a bad Mamogram come back except I didnt let them do the biospy thing. I made em take it OUT ! Yes on the designs of these machines. I think the Mamogram machine needs work myself. Working in medicine has shown me a great many things. One of which is there still is alot of work to be done when it comes to womens issues and how we are cared for. Just like the way you had to have the biopsy done. Its a great thing they have devolped ways to treat things but, still there is alot more to be done.

I had to had this part...... My father remarried after my mother died. He married a lady who had Multiple Sclerosis and was evently put in a wheel chair. He took her one time to get her yearly done and he had to place her on the table himself. She refused to have the pap done unless he was present. My own father told me if he was a woman he would never ever have that done after one time. He was suprised at what a woman had to go through to get checked. Then he took her for the Mamogram, He had to hold her up while it was done. He said that was one procedure he would never have done either. My mother died from breast cancer at 47 and he said he never thought about what we had to endure.

Sorry about the bable. Im glad you got checked and things are clear. We are so happy to have you back now SMILE !
