it depends on your dr's instructions and what you can tolerate. to be honest, i was told after 1 year i can eat whatever doesnt make me sick. its hard to make a list. it will be mostly trial and error and good food choices.

You can't find a list because there isn't any. In other words, you will be able to eat just about any food there is. With the exception of chewing gum, that is, and that only because of the issue that it will get stuck in your pouch and block it if you accidentally swallow it, and you may need an endoscopy, or even surgery, to get it out. Other than that, absolutely nothing. What makes the difference is, you may turn out to be unable to tolerate somethings physically--make you dump, develop an allergy-- that kind of thing, which is totally individual, not a common factor for all post ops. You may become lactose intorerant, you may find you can tolerate sugar, but can't tolerate sugar alcohol or vice versa, etc etc. The only rules you need ot keep to, is to eat in moderate amounts, and keep your food intake balanced, keep up your liquid intake, but never mix food with liquids when eating. So, when you dream of foods that you think you won't be able to eat anymore, remember that you will be able to, once your pouch has settled down, your system has adjusted to your new plumbing, and you are at goal, and have an easier time with eating. It's just that amount isn't going to be much-- not the heaps you ate pre op, just a very small plateful.
