Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | CONGRATULATIONS on your 3 week exam and the fabulous weight loss start! 20 lbs is fabulous. DONT get worried my doctor did not clear me for more excersise for 3 months. YOUR healing inside in that time and i think he is looking out for your best interest. YOU will loose fine and i will be the first to admit haveing a JUNE 1 2005 surgery and it being summer time on LONG Island is temps in the 90's and humid i barely walked. MY looseing was fabulous. IN September i started the gym (ladies workout express) and i have lost rapidly and successfully. WOW 2 months on the soft foods. YOU will do it and again your surgeon is very cautous. THAT early time is when food can easily get stuck and cause vomitting which during healing isnt the best. KEEP up the great work KAT! your a big looser already in 3 weeks hugs

| Super Moderator | Kat, congratulations on the grand start!! Your dr is being cautious for your sake, bummer about the pool, but as Lisa says, it may be for the best because the heat could get you down, and cause you dehydration even if you're in the pool. I mean, "water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink" Be sure to keep up with your water as the hot weather approaches, and that goes for everyone out there, too. Oh, yeah, that Gerber peach baby food stuff sounds delish, since you are a chef, could you devise some good post op soft foods and put them up for other post ops? I think it will be a great inspiration for others. ((((((((HUGS)))))))) keep up the good work!!!

| Hi Guys, Thanks for the words. I plan on doing fine on soft food. I asked if I peeled grapes if I could eat the inside. :] Yes doc., I will post anything that I come up with that I consider deeeeeelish. That peach/vanilla drink is #1. Peaches are my favorite fruit but the Gerber has a very pronunced peach flavor which makes the drink taste better. Hey Lisa, where do you live on LI? I lived in Southampton for 4 years. I was a personal chef between there and Greenwich CT when I first got of CIA. I had a great time on LI. I used to shop at the Ronkonkama Mall and listen to Ragee music at Sag Harbor on Sunday nights. I miss CT and NY. I imagine that I'll be back some day. Deb have fun on your vaca. Your going to love NY! Kat |

Height: | I know what you mean... my closet has clothes in it that I just couldn't part with and my friend gave me so many skirts in different sizes that I will probably never be able to wear them all. That having been said, I do enjoy buying the occasional new piece of clothing just to keep me motivated. Janae |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | YES thats gonna be too kool going thru that chest and shopping. I was fortunate to have my first needed smaller sized clothes from when i lost weight 3 years ago....and that was fun to shop in my closet. BUT now i am much smaller then even those clothes! I even wore a t shirt last week i bought on my honeymoon in Hawaii 17 years ago and that was pretty neat to fit into!!!! ENJOY!
