Default Feels great to be an inspiration

I caught up with my youngest sister for the first time in a few months yesterday ( I have 5 sisters!). She's been working incredibly hard and has now lost about 110 pounds by changing her lifestyle to include healthy eating and excercising. She thanked me and told me that it was due to watching me through my journey and seeing me maintain it that made her realise that such a weight loss was even possible, that she had resigned herself to the fact that she would always just be bigger until she saw me do it. She's still got a wee while to go, about another 30 pound or so. To know that I've played such a part for her, that I was the inspiration for the change of her life which was headed down such a dangerously unhealthy path is an incredible feeling - this is my baby sister and I've been able to help her discover the joy it feels to be embracing life with confidence and vitality.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

How wonderful to be able to inspire people you love to follow your footsteps. Hopefully, your sister will join us here?
And you and your husband are such a beautiful couple.

Thanks everyone, yes chuppygirl I did it without WLS, but I know how much so many of you struggle with friends and family who don't think WLS is necessary, and have to battle them as well as battle the weight, so sometimes I feel a bit weird being on here as if I perhaps might only add to that perception, by having done it without WLS. However the support I've had from everyone on the site has been amazing, and I wish everyone else with their one eyed views could see that it's the end result not the way we choose to get there thats the important thing. No Doc I can't exercise apart from gentle walking yet, and it's starting to drive me crazy!!!! I'm particularly missing bodyjam - an incredibly fun hiphop type aerobics class. I've been very diligant watching my diet very carefully with the worry that I'd put weight on not being able to exercise, and so far I think I might have actually dropped a kilo or two LOL. I have got a bit of a cold as we're in our winter now and the coughing has been a bit painful at times but seems on the mend now.
