Default My First goal
Since I started this journey I have had 3 personal weight loss goals.
First was to reach a total weight loss from May of 100 lbs by Christmas. Second is to lose another 50 lbs by my birthday on 04/08/08. Third and final is to lose the final 100 lbs by my birthday on 04/08/09.

Well I am pleased to anounce with a week to spare I broke through and have lost a total of 101 lbs. My first goal.

I have seen both my surgeon and my primary care Doctors. Both are very happy. I had a blood test and without being on any meds for either cholesterol or diabetes for the last 3 months, My A1C was a stellar 5.7 and my cholesteral was normal.

Anybody who has gone through this knows the joy and releif I feel with this news.

Anybody who is just starting this journey you too will soon have the good news.

There is no doubt in my mind anymore about whether this was the right decision to make.

I hope everybody is doing well.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
