way off topic

ok i know this is way off topic but i am soooooooooo excited. i have purchased a truck, (black mazda), and have put the insurance on it. Friday i get it out of the garage and put on the liscence plates and sticker and then can go anywhere any time i want. this is exciting for me because really it is my first vehicle. well i had a car for about three weeks but couldn't get the emissions test on it because it was so old and it spent most of those three weeks in the garage being fixed and then i had to scrap it anyway. so technically this is my 2nd vehicle but really it seems like my first. I will have so much more freedom. won't have to ask my dad to drive me everywhere or take a taxi because i can't walk that far. and this may sound strange but i will probably be doing more walking because i can go anywhere anytime and i will walk from the car to the store, (funny how that's the first place i think of going), and back and i promise myself i will park a fair distance away from the front doors to help with the excercise. i'll be getting out more so i am soooo excited.

I think this is awesome that you will have a vehicle.....
now when bored instead of eating you will go out and do things!
WOW you life is changeing and u havent even done the surgery

thanks guys

i am so excited, i'm still happy dancing in my seat after what 2 days? Tomorrow around 6pm i should be picking up the truck from the garage if all goes well. i won't be able to let you know about it over the weekend as i will be at the cottage and no internet. But you can bet you will all get a pic next week sometime.

suddenly i have the song "little old lady from passadena" running through my mind. i am definitly going to be a road demon. hehe

i am so excited i couldn't sleep.
TODAY IS THE DAY!
When Roo gets home from work we go get the trip permit and then go get the truck. i am so psyched. OK EVERYBODY HAPPY DANCE WITH ME! hehe
i will drive responsibly Doc, not to worry. My brother died in a car accident and though i'm not overly careful, cause that could cause problems too, i do still follow all of the little things that Young Drivers Of Canada taught me. when we get the truck tonight we are going to do a back roads drive to perth, (40 min's there and 40 back) just to help me get used to driving the truck since i've never driven one before and is apparently a little different than what i'm used to, (driving Dad's car when i can coax the keys out of him). Gotta kind of watch our drives though because of the gas prices being so high now and probably going up in the summer as it did last summer. OOHHH i'm so pumped. Probably won't be able to do much of anything today, the excitement is just to much.

LITTLE OLD LADY FROM PASADEENA! road demon on the loose. hehe . i love the truck. got it from the garage last night and filled it halfway with gas and went with Roo for a two hour back roads ride. i am now free from being stuck in the house when my dad can't take me somewhere, and i can't afford a taxi. i can go to the dr.s office without having to arrange it around my dad's busy personal life. i can take my mom out and my dad can work on his trains or in the workshop. i can go get weighed and not have to rely on any one or tell any one if i have gained weight.(hehe) i can go to a fitness club when and how often i want. this is just a small amount of the things that i will now be able to do. i promise pics sometime next week. it's great. it's actually a smaller sized truck. i never actually saw it till last night. Roo was the one who bought it for me. i knew it was a black mazda and that was about it. the fit behind the steering wheel is a little tight but managable, and won't be a problem about a month or two (i'm guessing) after the surgery. i can't explain how excited i am after so many years of being without a vehicle, and too fat to walk anywhere so having to rely on my dad or others to help me get around. HAPPY DANCING HAPPY DANCING! yes i will be careful on the roads, i promise.
