Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Hi there... if you're interested in Arabic genuine music please ignore this post. One of the greatest Arabic sigers is/was a lady from Eygpt who was really well known and a big symbol of the eastern music called (Umm Kalthoum). She was actually the top of that golden time, and many of her peers envyed her! She was a big fam. during 1930-1960's. The press used to give her a nick name (Woman with gold throut) because of the fact that she used to sing life for many long hours on the stage without voice filters or play backs. She's to Arabs like (Elvis Brisley). Her fans from used to travel from everywhere of the Arab wolrd just to attand here concerts at that time. And when she passed out many considered it the end of the Arabic mirthful music age. I love her voice so much, you won't believe that there are young people from my generation and even younger love her songs and still listen to her unforgettable music. Here is a link of her songs http://www.3bdoon.com/um_kalthum.htm My favorite is the 25th link from top. I know it's a bit hard for non speaking arabic people to enjoy that taste of eastern music. I'll try to find a translation of that song and will post it, how is that?

| Super Moderator | I think I remember the name. I lived in Turkey in the mid-late 1950s, so she'd have been popular there, too. So, I've heard this kind of sing-song music before. Makes me think of belly dancing (which is very good exercise, actually.) Seriously, this type of music brings back the landscapes of Turkey for me. Thank you for the link. Chuppy, the link was funny, because I saw the links for cartoon music, and many of the cartoons and animation listed on that page are from Japan. I know that a lot of Japanese animations is exported, so out of curiosity, I listened to some of the songs there. Totally different from the original theme songs, so I'd say they were re-written for the audience it was intented for, though I can't say for every single one, because I listened to only a couple.

| WLS Mentor | that's too cool chuppy, i will check it out when i get back this afternoon. i don't think it's funny that you love music from that time period. I am so into the 50 and 60's music. Even some of the stuff from the early 70s revs me up. thanks for sharing

Height: | Okay, so how cool is this. I have a e-pal that I met from yahoo that is an Italian Muslim that currently lives in Jordan, named Bassam that sends me some of the music from the same website on occasion. He is awesome. I actually just got a download from him from Tarkan? I think that is how it is spelled. I have also gotten a couple from him from Cheb Mami....I love it. Thank you for sending the site link. Now I can go and get more on my own, even though it is nice to have him kind of translate the gist of the lyrics for me. Maybe I will surprise him with a song for a change. I also just found out that our neighbor Jay is going to Kuwait for 3 weeks starting tonight...I don't know what part though. At least he is only going for three weeks which is good. Janae |

Height: | Chuppy I would love to come, but think that money wise I will probably be grounded here. If we want to still try to go home to Idaho before he deploys to see our families then we will have to put a good amount on our credit cards to do it, and we want to use the extra money he makes while overseas to pay them off. Credit cards have been a hard thing for us in the past and I don't want to have to carry any balances for too long.....Yes my neighbor is from the military too. Unfortunately I don't know exactly where he will be and as for my husband it is still unknown as to his exact destination. I told my friend in Jordan that he needs to charm all the women in the middle east so that there won't be any temptation left for my cute hubby when he is there....lol. I am not really too worried about it because I have a great man and I trust him to be good. Thank you so much for the invitation though. Maybe someday I will get the chance to do some world travel, but for now I must settle for having great friends like you online to help me go there in my imagination. Love the tar out of you girl and thank God every day that our paths have crossed in such a way...... Janae |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Here is the English lyrics for (Anta Umri) song of Umm Kalthum as I promised. Your eyes took me back to my days that are gone They taught me to regret the past and its wounds. Whatever I saw before my eyes saw you was a wasted life. How could they consider that part of my life? With your light, the dawn of my life started How much of my life before you was lost It is a wasted past, my love. My heart never saw happiness before you My heart never saw anything in life other than the taste of pain and suffering. I started only now to love my life And started to worry that my life would run away from me. Every happiness I was longing for before you My dreams they found it in the light of your eyes. Oh my heart’s life .. You are more precious than my life Why I didn't meet your love a long time ago? Whatever I saw before my eyes saw you was a wasted life. How could they consider that part of my life? You are my life that starts its dawn with your light. The beautiful nights and the yearning and the great love From a long time ago the heart is holding for you. Taste the love with me bit by bit from the kindness of my heart that is longing for the kindness of your heart. Bring your eyes close so that my eyes can get lost in the life of your eyes. Bring your hands so that my hands will rest in the touch of your hands. My love, come, and enough. What we missed is not little, oh love of my soul. Whatever I saw before my eyes saw you was a wasted life. How could they consider that part of my life? You are my life that starts its dawn with your light. You are more precious than my days. You are more beautiful than my dreams, Take me to your sweetness-- Take me away from the universe Far away, far away. I and you far away, far away. Alone. With love, our days will awaken We spend the nights longing for each other I reconciled with days because of you I forgave the time because of you With you I forgot my pains And I forgot with you my misery. Your eyes took me back to my days that are gone They taught me to regret the past and its wounds. Whatever I saw before my eyes saw you was a wasted life. How could they consider that part of my life? You are my life that starts its dawn with your light.
