Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Home From Canada We just got home from our vacation to Canada to see my husbands family over Christmas. I couldn't bring my self to open the topic of my surgery. I tried to keep my eating under control over the holiday and I think I did fairly well. I am home and will weigh in tomorrow in the am and see the damages. I am getting a little scared as well. The new year is just around the corner and it looks like if all goes well I will get my surgery sometime in March. I just got all my labs done right before I went on vacation too. They came in the mail the day I was leaving so I sat quick and looked over them and they all look good so I cant see a problem there..But I am getting that queezy feeling In my tummy I get before surgery, but this time its really early..lol.. I will get some time this week to read over the forums and see what I missed.. And I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year as well..And I should get my surgeons appointment set up soon too. And I have all that stuff to do soon. Get my scope and take my class and test, and attend a meeting.. It is going to go fast I bet.. I keep thinking OMG am I really going to do this to myself. I guess we all get jitters though.

Welcome back! Yes, if you are hoping for March, the time is gonna go fast! I spent the week I had to think about surgery(they only gave me that much warning!!) thinking the same thing: Am I relly going to do this?? I spent the week after surgery thinking: WHY did I do this??? And the week after that and up till now thinking: WHY DIDN'T I DO THIS SOONER???
