Ok here is the deal I had a IUD placed a month or so before surgery everything has been great. But I think its comeing OUT  The Doctors office is closed and I dont know what to do and because of new years I dont think they are going to be open agen till wed.What should I do? My husband and I have not done anything as of latly so i have no fears of pregnacey or anything IM just scard of this thing rippeing or taring something if it should come out DOC HELP

I wanted to add to this that MY friend had RNY surgery also with the same tipe IUD that i have and she experiaced hers falling out So I was wondering if this could be do to my weight loss? Im not even for shore that it is coming out I hope you understand me

First off, go to the ER to have it removed safely. Second, yes, it could become displaced because of your major weight loss. The pressure on your womb from the outside whiche helped keep the IUD in place is decreased now so you probably need one that sits more firmly in place.

Weight Loss Method Physician Prescribed Diet/Exercise | Sometimes also they JUST fall out regardless of circumstances! I had a client who KNEW hers was coming out because she could feel the string and the tip of the IUD in her uterus. Yeah. I had her go to the Doc right then. The next week her regular Doc was able to replace it so it wasn't a big deal--as long as it was taken care of!!!!! XOXO Mya |
