Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

first off
what you are feeling is very normal. me and edie were going back and forth about something similar lol. i think because we are now confident in what we can handle we lose track. you will not fail. dont even think about that lol. we're all here for you. and no one here is a saint. if it makes you feel any better, a few days ago i ate a bad og sour patch kids and reeses pieces for dinner. BAD CHOICE i know, but i did it, and moved on.

it's very true that most of us were and still are addicts. and eventhough we are smaller and our stomachs are smaller, we still have to deal with our addictions every day. you are doing so fine. everything you say is something i have said to myself as well as others have said to themselves im SURE.

breathe.

Hello! look in the mirror! You're doing so well and look beautiful! It's so normal to make these emotional journies and to re-think so many aspects of our lives. Set some small attainable goals each day and then pat yourself on the back when you accomplish them. Maybe start measuring your food again to help stay on track? That's what I do (thanks, Boots).

You are perfectly normal. I'm sure that the vast majority of us were chronic dieters all of our lives. We would lose weight only to see it come back with more than we started out with. However, you ARE being successful. Take a look in the mirror or take out an old pair of slacks and try them on. You are a beautiful, successful, and worthy person. Give yourself a break, and just get back to basics.
We ALL "fail" to eat the proper things once in a while. (And often pay the price) For example, a few days ago I was at my brother's house. His wife served whole wheat pancakes and turkey bacon. I should have known better than to try the real maple syrup, but my willpower was weak. I use sugar free at home. Boy did I pay for it. I was severly nauseated for 2 hours and threw up 2 times. UGH. That is how wls keeps us on track too. It teaches us to follow the rules by saying "HEY THERE...YOU ATE THE WRONG THING....NOW YOU WILL PAY"
Good luck and keep positive. We are all here for you.

You are doing great and we all get off track every once in a while. My downfall right now is that I have cravings for sweets, like candy. I had 3 of my sugarfree candies today, but I put a limit of no more than 3 or 4 of them in one day. The first 3 months I could have cared less if I ate at all, but now I am starting to like the tastes of food, but I still have a few I cannot even try and just the thought of them gag me. But I cannot eat like I use to their is no way that I can get the amounts of food in like I use to before my surgery. I would never want the 94 pounds back on that I lost, becasue I feel so good and way more energy than before and the things i can do now is unbelievable. I think you have done a wonderful job of losing and you look so awesome and what a change from now, compared to before you lost the weight. You are a gorgeous woman.

What you are going through is normal.
Part of the feelings come from the fact that you have been at a high weight for such a long time, that you aren't really sure deep inside, how to handle the new weight you are at, both physically and emotionally. As things often are, it is one thing to know that there are places to be, but quite another thing to be actually there, where you will be able to see things you couldn't/didn't see before.

One word of advice. Even if you feel that you aren't depressed, if the emotional ups and downs get a bit hard for you to handle fairly easily, you should look for professional help, first from your PCP, and from specialists if your PCP recommends you to.

((((((HUGS)))))
You are doing very very well, there is no way this isn't going to work for you, and I am sure this new year will bring you lots of good new things that will balance out the fears that you are experiencing.

I gotta agree with doc!!!!It sometimes surprises me how everyone feels the same at one time or another. I am always thinking I'm gonna be the one it doesn't work for.I too was a lot of fun bigger.People comment on how I'm different.I think it's because we just haven't become accustomed to our changing selves.I'm not diff. inside but my whole outlook on life is changing(for the better). We are outside our comfort zone and it's very scary! I wish we could just jump ahead to the end.Thank heaven for this site because it is so lonely on this journey sometimes..As far as the surgeon goes that just aint right. Is he in a group? If so maybe you can switch. You do have the right to have your records transfered to a new doc.I'de be checking into it.Do you have nutritionists? Are you close to your PCP? Thats where i'de start. You do look and are doing GREAT!!!If you need a shoulder I still have a big one(well 2),any time.

I think these are things that are normal for all of us going down this road. I can relate to all of them, and some of them I can honestly say I experience thinking of or feeling WEEKLY some daily. And I even feel like you do in that everyone else here are "saints" compared to me, sometimes I feel "greedy" for coming on this site, and getting encouraged by you all and not leaving anything behind for you.
