I have been wondering for quite some time. Truth is Im sick of breakfast food eggs, bacon, sasage just the thought makes me wanna herl Is it ok If I ate like my lunch or dinner foods for breakfast also.

For example could I eat grilled chicken breast and cottage cheese for breakfast

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

well, of course im not a dr lol but as long as you get in the protein i dont think it matters WHAT you eat when. i had grilled chicken on a salad for breakfast this morning lol. i think im gonna start eating light for dinner. like breakfast for dinner and dinner for breakfast. maybe doc can answer if its REALLY right or wrong...i dunno. this is a good question.

Sure, it's fine, just so long as you get your protein in.

As for Kenya's idea of eating light dinner is a good one, actually.
When you think logically, I think you'll realize that you need to get the energy to pull you through the day early, then for dinner, you need just enough to carry you through till morning. So, it's better to have a good breakfast and lunch and light dinner, rather than light breakfast and lunch and heavy dinner.

Yeah, my surgeon gave me info on this during my last checkup, everything Doc says! It only makes sense, we shouldn't eat our biggest meal right before we are retiring for the nite!

ashley of course you can eat other stuff for breakfast! LOL...no rule on what it has to be..those are just 'traditional' foods.

personally I don't do the whole 'biggest meal' at dinner time, which for me would be 12noon..lol, I try and keep it all the same size in accordance to pouch size and all. Although for a long time all I could get when I was working days first thing in the morning was 1/2 a protein bar in and that was about it! But 2-3 hrs later I could get more in than that at a time.

CARB-LITE Low carb Recipes and Advice

that aussie site I've posted before has a lot of great recipes for all kind of different breakfast and other meals, treats foods that are ALL high protein.

I do not eat a traditional breakfast. I eat try to eat protien first and I eat anything I am hungry for for breakfast. I have eaten chile for breakfast, in fact I had chili for breakfast this morning. I have had meatloaf for breakfast and I try to eat the same amount for breakfast, dinner and supper. I try to keep my lunches a little lighter. I even ate liver and onions the other day for breakfast. I am not big on cereal for breakfast, just does not seem to keep me full enough till the next meal. My nutritionist told me that I am eating real good and to keep up with my eating the way I am. I do one fruit a day and she told me that is excellent. The only thing that bothers me about the fruit it runs my carb. up. But I am doing well the way i am eating, and I will keep on eating the way I am. Once I run into trouble losing weight then I will have to look at changes of what I am eating. But for now it all works for me.

Hi, Ashley -- I dont do many breakfast foods anymore, used to be my favorite meal. I think you should just eat whatever healthy thing you want for breakfast. My pouch is just now accepting "early deposits" of food, early out only wanted liquids in the a.m.
