Default Amount of Fat?

I know that we are suppose to make sure we keep our fat and carb intake to a reasonable amount. Does anyone know about how many fat grams are "ok" for a day, without it being too many? Thanks.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I was told that my goal was to take in 1440 cals a day (HA!) and that no more than 30% of which should be fat (15%-20% should be protein and 50%-55% good carbs).

I try to stick no more than 10 grams of fat per day....if you burn more fat in your normal day than you take in, you can't help but lose...I've basically cut carbs as LOW as I can....they are hard to avoid completely, but I'm watching fat and carbs BIG time...I think that's led to how successful I've been thus far...!

It should be around but no more than a quarter in calories of your total daily caloric intake.
If the daily intake is 1000kcals, then 250kcals from fat.
1g fat= 9kcals, so, 250/9= 27g.

Thanks everyone. I had no idea. I wasn't even keeping up with my calories. Maybe I need to do that. There seems so much to remember and learn on this journey.

I had no idea what I was eating. I have been writing down stuff today and am totally shocked. I've had a protein shake for breakfast, cashews for a snack, and a Smart Ones meal for lunch, and so far I've already had 23 fat grams for the day. What in the world do you eat that doesn't have any fat in it? PLEASE HELP!!!
