I know cats can be spiteful.... i have three cats and one is very attached to my daughter. NOW this cat hates when my daughter has a sleep over friend cause it means she cant snuggle up with bri all night long and out of spite has peed on her friends things during a sleep over and only then. I suggest only take out the scale for your weigh in and otherwise keep it put it away silly animal hugs

I am with hiding the scale, put it in the cupboard under the sink or any cupboard. I have always had cats and they are SO strange sometimes, My one cat Squeeker, she pees on my electric skillet if I leave it on the counter. I bought it when we moved into this house last May and I would leave it on the counter with the lid on and she somehow gets ON THE LID and balances good enough to pee on the whole thing!! I once though about borrowing someones video recorder and setting it up at nite, just to see how she manages to do this!! I just got tired of having to clean it every time with bleach so I just put it in the cupboard!
