Default I am on the roll again!!!!!

I stood on the scale this morning and I lost 2 pounds sometime this week. I am at 96 pounds lost. I am just so excited and never dreamed that I would lose these two pounds so early after a short stall. I think I was only on a two week stall. My daughter was pretty much the same until she got so far down in her weight. She only had short stalls the first 5 months. But I have way more weight to lose than she does so I hope my stalls stay short for a few months yet. I feel so great, with so much energy. I can even keep my house in order everyday and I have been going downstairs and washing our cloths. That is good excercise going up and down the steps and I think we have right around 12 steps going into the basement and then I have to go to the mudroom which has 5 steps and to go outside we have another 5 steps. So I do lots of steps in a day. Because I have to go outside and do chores everyday for my husband until next week wednesday. He has an appointment with the doctor and then we will know more by then. Our son comes out everyother day to give the cattle hay. I just check on them to make sure that they are ok and have enough hay till he comes out.
I AM JUST SO EXCITED.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Kitty you said yall have cattle. Do yall rasie beef cattle? My family always has. We still do even though I dont have any left myself. After my father died i give all of mine to my son because of the work that had to go into them and the money. Me being a single mom didnt enable me to help with the farm account. My brothers allowed him to do extra chores to make up for the money that has to go out during hay season. My dad always had a farm and raised cattle. Im a farm girl. We even used to have a cow to milk. Belive it or not I do miss those days. I bet we raised and farmed 90 percent of what we eat. That included meat and vegtables. When i got old enough to cook I used to love to cook a dinner knowing every bit of it come from the farm. It just seemed to taste so much better.

Sorry that go a bit off subject but its a interesting subject to me!

We have 108 cows to calf out this coming year. But my husband has to see the doctor next week wed. and that is going to depend if we are going to keep the cows for one more year or if we have to sell them pretty quick. The doctor told me that he cannot see how my husband can continue and how he did it all this time as bad as his knees are. But we did decide that if he can calf them out this year that this would be the last year for cattle for us. My husband worked so hard even as a little boy and with all the heavy lifting and hard work he has done all them years he has worn out both of his knees and the doctor said that he hardly has no catalidge left in his knees. I saw the x-rays and he is bone on bone with his knees. They want to put some stuff into his knees for some cusioning and hope that works. But the doctor recommends for him to get knee replacements in 3 years. When we first got married we had polled hereford cattle and then we went into saler catte and now we are into angus cattle. The saler cattle got such a bad reputation becasue of their being so wild but ours where gentle. We are careful with the genetics of our cattle. When our kids where young I milked a holstein cow. What we did we let the cow have the calf all the time and when I needed milk we took the calf away overnight and then I would milk the cow as much as I needed and then put the calf back on the cow. This way I did not have to milk the cow morning and evening only milked her when I needed the milk. Once our kids got older we quit milking and bought the milk, did not need as much milk anymore.
My kids had lots of animals and they have fond memories of the animals. we had cats, 1 dog, rabbits, ducks, geese and any kind of fancy chickens you can think of and butcher chickens. I also raised guinies, they got the loudest screetch and really sound weird. I collected eggs from them and put them under chicken clucks to hatch them and the hens took care of them they had no idea that they were guinies. I also had some chicken eggs with them to hatch and the cluck raised them all the same way. I also hatched out many chickens when the kids got older for a few years. I did not hatch any geese out I let the mother goose hatch them out. My kids also had an angora hamster, he was a cutie. I had three turkeys but they all died within two weeks. A person cannot raise turkeys on this farm for some reason they always die. My husbands mother and grandmother all tried raising turkeys and they always died on them in a short time. It is something on this farm that they die from. I always have raised a huge garden and when the kids were little when I was thinner and much more energy I use to raise two gardens. One garden had potatoes, watermelon and cantalope and corn. I mean lots of that and the other garden had the usual stuff a person raises in a garden. I always seem to raise enough for the whole country side. I love to watch a garden grow. My kids still talk about the things we rasied and my kids can never say that they did not have alot of animals in their childhood. Sorry this is kinda long but I thought msvickie would enjoy reading this since she was a farm girl. Maybe their are some others that were raised on a farm. I also was raised on a farm and got married to a farmer.
