I think I'm definitely going with a DELL....but, I need a TON of space b/c I take a TON of pictures...

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hmmm. I have both.
Desk top at home, and the laptop that I am using right now, which I keep at work. They both have their good and bad points, so it's mostly a matter of what you prefer, and what your needs are.
Desktops take up more space, but have the capacy to tack on a lot of things, and less expensive. However, the newest laptops are pretty good, too, although they eat up a lot of dollars. My desk top is 160G with 1G memory, while this laptop is 80G with 1G memory, so I have plenty of space, even with this one. (I actually wondered, what am I going to do with all these Gs when I got my present desk top a couple of years ago. Still have over 120 spare Gs with all I load the thing up with. )
Since you are hitting the road, and you're not sure where you will be moving into, I'd say a good laptop might be better conisdering the situation you are in, right now.
Just my two cents.

Okay, so right now we just have the desktop.... a Sony Vaio...I like it, but we are planning on buying a laptop and a webcam set up for both computers around Christmas time for when Terrence deploys. I think that this will be an absolute necessity for us when he is gone so that we won't go insane. As far as laptops go you can always get a bigger external harddrive which my hubby hopes to also get before he goes so he can download most of our movies onto it when he goes and has plenty of movies to watch. That is just us though. If you get a Dell let me know how you like it since we are thinking about the same thing. Oh and FYI, you may want to do some checking around Manhattan in one of the many electronics stores there. A lot of them seem to have great deals on laptops, but make sure that if you buy there you know your stuff so you know what you are buying...lol. Love ya. Janae
