Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  My son is so proud!!!!! I got a phone call from my sister -in-law and she was telling me how proud my son, Travis ( he is the one 6 ft.3in.) is of me. She told me that my son has been text messaging her daughter, that they should go see me. He said that my mom lost so much weight and that she looks so good and is just amazed how much I lost. She said that my son went on and on about me. Now that surprises me, I told her, becasue all he ever said about me losing weight that he said I am doing good and that is it. My sister-in-law said that my son is very proud of me. My son, Travis, is a person who will not show me his feelings. I always told my kids, growing up, that they can come to me for anything and I will always be here for them. This is the same son that was at the hospitol and just before they wheeled me to operating room, he gave me a big hug and whispered in my ear and said "Mom everything is going to be ok and you will be fine from this surgery" That was so special to me coming from him.
