 |  Another thought on "fitting in"
Now that I've dropped this weight there are so many things that "fit" now that did not before. It just came to me to share some of these -- I'm sure you have some too you can add -- like... - How easy it is to go into a regular public bathroom stall now. I always had such problems when I was heavier just manuvering around in one of those small stalls -- now its no problem.
- Or sitting down to eat at a resturant in a booth. My tummy used to touch the table and my boobs would always be in the way. Now I actuallly have SPACE between the table and my tummy -- its amazing!
- Or sitting in an airline seat. My problem wasn't side to side, it was always front to back -- I could never lower the tray table completely because it would rest on my tummy. Now I can actually use it to work!

there are so many of these!! how about the steering wheel in the car, or the seatbelt?? or even going to the movies with those skinny ppl chairs...we could probably go on forever...it feels wonderful to not worry about these things anymore! and i cannot wait till summer to bring my kids to valley fair and ride the rides!!

YES, I told my doctor yesterday that I wasnt worried if there were any "bigass" seats available in the waiting room! You know, the ones that are as wide as two seats with no arm rest in the middle. He laughed and said he dosnt go out there much, but he was glad it was not a concern of mine anymore if there were none available!

Dawn I had no idea you were from Minnesota, my parents live there. I LOVE Valley Fair.
Jill the airplane tray table is a big one I cant wait to use. For me my belly doesnt seem so close to the steering wheel now.

I agree there are so many of these new fits. It's so exciting. Last week I met my husband for lunch at one of our favorite little sandwhich shops. I hadn't been there for a long, long while.
After we had eaten and we were just sitting there talking, I suddenly realized that I was sitting in a booth! I had never been able to sit in one of their booths before, or like you said my boobs would be laying on the table and I couldn't breathe. This time I had a good 5-6 inches. I was so happy!!
It's amazing how something so little could make you feel so great! I had a smile on my face the rest of the afternoon.  | |

I've noticed that my car's driver area has gotten huge! I used to think that if my airbag ever deployed I probably would have been injured because I was too close to it, but hey, my arms and legs were only so long! I find it amusing to go to restaurants now and sit comfortably in a booth, last time we went to Applebee's my DH was cracking up at me coz I plopped down and could actually sit with my legs crossed, etc. You could drive a truck thru there now LOL. Oh, and I love the way I sit in regular chairs now, no having to look at the chair and wonder if it's gonna break (especially those plastic outdoor chairs). What a relief!

I've actually had to move my seat in the car CLOSER to the steering wheel (no more fat back to keep me pushed up)!!!!
I can sit in regular chairs...and cross my legs UNDER my desk at work....it's amazing!!

How about not having to almost wear a bib because you couldnt get close enough to your plate because of the tummy . I used to always ALWAYS drip somthing on me. Now its stopped.

Wow these are all such big wows and I can relate to them. The steering wheel in the car is a very good one that I can relate to, but the booth in a restraunt I have not tried yet, I got a feeling I am still to big for that but hopefully this summer I can fit behind one. I also would go to a waiting room at the doctor and look for the biggest chair for me to sit comfortably. When we would go to a sale barn for cattle they have long flat seats and I was thankful for that but, oh would my back hurt, becasue there are no back rests. With the weight loss, my back is much better. People who are thin take all these wows for granted, but we sure see the difference, and the wows are huge to us.
