| Where oh where is my friend? Food!
I tell y'all I am so extremely stressed out right now and am amazed that I havent turned to food to comfort myself, not that I could but I havent even tried.
Tonight my 5 yr old and I went to dinner with a good friend of mine. We went to my work had a nice meal and then I dropped my friend at her house Sammy and I were on our way hope and my driver side tire literally flew off my jeep as I was driving. Luckily I was only going 15 miles per hour. I was so freaked out and stressed. Normally after I made it home Iwould of gorged myself on anything around, not tonight. Is this a step in the right direction? I hope so.

| Oh Girl!!! TO SAY THE LEAST...... You're DEFINITELY going in the right direction on the "INNER" you.... Just remember if you "think" about it...then you are working on it -- and changing your behaviors. Sometimes I "think" and chose the unhealthy behavior -- this STILL is progress! B/c at one time in my life I didn't think when I ate....I just mechanically ATE myself into an oblivion! I'm sooo proud of you Becka....keep up the hard work! |

Glad you guys are ok....isn't it funny how we don't look at food anywhere NEAR the same way we used to...I think Kenya is right...when we were under for surgery, they operated on our taste buds, our tummy AND OUR MIND!!!

That is AWESOME!!!! We have all used food as our way to comfort ourselves for so long, to see the process evolving in the right direction means we must be doing something right!!!! The other night my son drove me nuts and then I argued with his dad on the phone and my first reaction was how can I blow this medifast diet!? You know what I did? I went to sleep. Yeah for us!!!!!!!

OMG, thank goodness you didn't have an accident, that is very very scary.
Congratulations on being able to keep yourself in check.
You know, next time something happens and you can't get a grip, one way is to exercise. Go on a walk, get out some music and dance to it, whatever. Good exercise helps work the stress off, and raise the endorphin, the happy hormone.

Wow are you lucky!!! Did you mean your front drivers side? I'm so happy your OK. What happened anyway?
Congratulations for not trying to kill the feelings with food. You are moving in such a healthy direction for yourself. Just remember how far you have come.
