 WELL I HAVE TO SAY FOR THE FIRST TIME DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE FINALLY WOKE UP AND OPENED MY EYES TO THE NEW ME. I REALLY DO SEE AND FEEL A DIFFERNCE NOW! NOT ONLY WITH MY LOOKS BUT I NOTICE I CARRY MYSELF DIFFERNTLY, I DONT HAVE A CONSTANT CHIP ON MY SHOULDERS, I DRESS DIFFFERNTLY, I HAVE A HUGE SELECTION TO CHOOSE FROM NOW WHEN I SHOP IN THE STORES AND JUST LOVE GOING TO THE JUNIOR SECTION , I LOVE THE FACT THAT WHEN I GO SHOPPING NOW ITS ENJOABLE BECAUSE WHEN I USED TO SHOP IT WAS A VERY DARK AND DEPRESSING THING FOR ME TO DO BECAUSE I WOULD STRESS IF I WOULD FIND ANYTHING THAT WOULD FIT WHICH I USUSALLY DIDNT AND IF I DID FIND SOMTHING THAT FIT I WOULD JUST BUY IT EVEN IF I THOUGHT IT WERE UGLY BECAUSE I WAS LUCKY TO FIND ANYTHING THAT FIT AT ALL, I FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF, I FEEL YOUNGER, I AM ALWAYS ACTIVE AND JUST WANT TO GO OUT AND DO THINGS CONSTANLTLY. I HAVE SPENT SO LONG AT HOME HIDING, SITTING AND JUST NOT FEELING WELL ABOUT MYSELF. IT SEEMS MY DARK DAYS ARE NOW GONE AND THE SUN HAS FINALLY COME OUT IN MY WORLD. I AM NOT STRESSED FEELING TERRIBLE ABOUT MYSELF OR WHO WILL SEE ME OUTSIDE WHEN I GO TO GET THE MAIL. IM ACTUALLY STARTING TO LIKE LIFE AND WHAT IT BRINGS. I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD FEEL SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FREE!!!! I LIKE THE WAY I LOOK AND IF I FEEL THIS GOOD NOW THEN I CANT EVEN IMAGINE HOW I WILL FEEL AND LOOK WHEN I GET TO MY GOAL. GOD I CANT WAIT FOR THAT DAY!!! I ALSO LOOK AT MY "SIGNATURE PICTURE I CANT BELIEVE I HAD TO GET RID OF THAT OUTFIT (in the after pic) BECAUSE IT IS NOW WAAAAAAAAAAAY TO BIG. I NOTICE THE LIGHTER WE GET THE MORE OF A DIFFERENCE WHEN WE SHED POUNDS IS NOTICABLE. FOR EXAMPLY WHEN I WAS 230 LBS IF I LOST 10 LBS IT WASNT REALLY NOITCABLE WHERE NOW IF I LOSE 10 LBS IT SHOWS AS A MAJOR DIFFERENCE ON ME AND MY CLOTHES!!!! I JUST TOTALLY FEEL LIKE A DIFFERENT PERSON ITS SO HARD TO EXPLAIN IT. IM JUST SO HAPPY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONCE AGAIN MAY I ADD WITH ALL THE SCAREY AND PAINFUL COMPLICATIONS I HAVE HAD THRU OUT THIS JOURNEY IT WAS ALL DEF WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING PART OF MY JOURNEY, PAIN, COMPLICATIONS, CONFUSION, WOW MOMENTS AND HAPPINESS I THANK MY FRIENDS HERE AT R&R.
THIS WAS LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE AND IT HAS ALL HAPPENED SO FAST LIKE A BLINK OF AN EYE!!!

I am so happy for you. I can relate to everything you are saying. I still have a ways to go, but I feel so different and so much better, it is nuts to think about what my life would have been like without this surgery. I am so happy for you, Edie. I can remember being so worried about you this summer and now, just look at you.

I just want to say that I take an extra special interest in those whos weight is/was around my now weight, So I have been reading lote of posts from you.
Thank-you for what you have written above. I have felt and do feel the same about going to the mailbox, its silly, but very real. It has often been hard to even get the courage to leave the house at all esp on those down days.
Your words really spoke to me, and the way you have change on the inside really shines through.

Wow, that is great! I can't wait to start feeling the way you do. I understood every word because that's me too! I know what you mean about losing weight and it not being as noticible when you're heavy. I lost 25 lbs now and I can just this week start to feel it and people are starting to notice. I can't wait to see how it feels when I am smaller! Keep up the great work!!!

You are doing terrific and I am so proud of you. I feel so much better about myself too since I lost all that weight, but I have a long ways to go yet. I like the after outfit on you too and looks so cute, but that is a good thing too that it is to big and I bet it feels good that it is too big and like you said you enjoy shopping now and I cannot wait till I can shop in a regular store with regular sizes. Love to see new pic. of the new you. Before you know it you will be at your goal weight and you have done a wonderful job losing. Keep up the great job.
