Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

How about banana's? I'm pre-op so I don't know if you can but they have a tendency to be filling? Just a thought....

well my snacks:

I love fruit: bananas, watermelon, strawberries, canteloupe
I love to snack on Stallones protein pudding, power crunch bars,
south beach cinimon raisin bars, pretzels, cheese stixs, pepperonis,
shrimps, deli meats rolled w/ cream cheese, soy chips....I also love to take shredded cheddar cheese, put it on reynolds release cook till its boiley and browning a little take out and it hardens and eat that!
sometimes a snack for me also is just a protein shake or sips of HOODS carb countdown chocolate milk.

ALSO SH have u tried the e store here? I see some wonderful tempting treats that might be good to have on hand for snacks now and then???
just a thought

Thanks for all the ideas. I do that cheese thing with parmesan cheese sometimes. I forgot about that. And, now that you mention pepperoni.....I used to take a few slices, microwave them, and they came out crispy, like a chip.

And the deli meat with the cream cheese................definitely going to try that one. Sounds filling.

Bananas give me a tummy ache, but I eat some other fruits.

Hi there, I find a handful of nuts or seeds is a great slowrelease energy food for that 3pm afternoon slump - about 12 roasted almonds usually does it, or a small handful of pumpkin seeds. I find fruit at that time of day doesnt really work for me gives me too quick an energy spike and feel the need to eat again too soon after.

HMMM heidi...
i been eating alot of fruit the past weeks I am going to watch how that does with
me! MAYBE i should go back to he nuts which i ate as snacks earlier out...
got me thinking! JUST i get so bored with foods......and i was never a picky eater, maybe i can get back to nuts again, some lo sodium varieties
and lay off fruit some.

interesting how we see food triggers! and what keeps us more satisfied and what doesnt!

Fruits are high in fructose, a kind of carb. If you have either sugar intolerance, or sugar dependence, although the vitamins in the fruits are good for you, on the whole, you may want to limit your intake. Nuts are high in protein, but be careful since many are also high in fat as well.
So long as you know what's the good part, and what's the bad part of whatever you pick, I'm sure you'll all do fine, though. The point is to be aware of what you are eating, and avoid mindless eating and mindless snacking.
Anyone for tomatoes, incidentally?
