Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Fried fish without the batter ... it's a no no!! Hi all, last night hubby and I went shopping. On the way he wanted to get fish & chips so I said ok I'll just have the fish and take off the batter. BIG..BIG..Mistake! I had the fish minus the batter mixed with a little bit of mashed potatos. It tasted so good and pouchy liked it. However, ~ 1 1/2 hours later (thank God we had just got home) I started with stomach cramps, gas pains soon followed by a completed cleaning out of the intestional tract over many trips to sit on the toilet. I guess this was delayed dumping? I sure have learned my lesson when it comes to fried anything...today I didn't find myself salivating over any fast food commercials.  Who'd of thought, that the fish would be loaded with grease too?? Yeah - not too smart on my part lol!

I was trying not to look like anything was wrong cause I didnt want them to call an ambulance or anything! It was terrible, when I had recovered enough to walk again I hurried out of there!!!
