I know how that situation can be. I had a few of those in the beginging. I now use Mirlalax and it works wonders too. Its a tastless powder that you can add to any drink and it really works.

early on diarrhea sure thing....but once the body adjusts and you get solids going...bm's every 2-3 days not uncommon..
now far out post...changes happen. With my wide stoma and food going right into the intestine my foods move along too quickly quite often. which is irritating to be going 2 times a day or more..but combine that with the stenosis..periods of things being stopped up too.
urrgg!

| I can't imagine since my surgery three weeks ago it seems like anything i eat enters and exits within ah, maybe 1/2 hour. i am progressing my diet pretty quickly. i eat a lot of high protien lean cuisines and of course the protein shakes. i had a lot of ibs issues before surgery and went through quite a bit of immodium but i'm affraid to take that now. does anyone know if it's safe? cangelski |
