Okay, but you are losing, right? The only thing is that the pace you are losing has slowed down. Which, at 6 months, is normal. From here on, the speed you lose will be what's basically healthy for your body. Under 10lbs per month, more likely half of that. But, 5x6=30. Lose another 30, and at one year out you will be 128. You know you are supposed to reach goal at 18-24 moths post op, not 3-4 months.

Patience, patience, patience, is what you need to practice from here. Your knee surgery shouldn't deter your body from losing further, even if you have to do without exercise for a while.

For the record, so long as you have your tool, the weight loss program actualy works throughout your life.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Well, I understand about frustration. But..first of all you look phenomenal! Secondly, I really think 5 to 6 pounds a month at 6 months out is good! Look at it this way..I am two months out and only lost 7 or 8 in the month of January. At first I was feeling like it was too little..but then I realized that, as Doc says, if our bodies take 18 to 24 months to stabilize in weight..I would rather it goes gradually!

You are making great progress!

Doc What You Say Sure Makes It Sound Better But I Just Wanted To Reach Goal By 1yr Out. I Know Pateince.

To Be Honest I Also Wanted To Lose As Much As I Can Now Because After Talking To My Doc I Did Want To Try And Get Pregnant This Spring. I Know Its Pretty Soon But At My Age And The Past Ob/gyn Problems I Have Had We Cant Afford To Wait Anymore. If I Were Younger I Would Def Wait But My Clock Is Really Loud Now And If I Dont Do This Soon, Forget It.

MY Doc Said Its Early But I Should Be Fine They Will Just Monitor Me Closely Because Of The Surgery And My Past History And Also Last Time I Was Pregnant I Lost 30 Lbs!!!

Heres My Ques Doc After I Have The Baby Will My Tool Still Work Or Will My Losing Phase Be Over? God Im So Worried About This Because I Still Want To Lose So Much More Yet I Cant Wait To Much Longer To Get Preg., Plus My Heart Is Set On It Now Esp Since My Daughte Is At The Perfect Age. But I Want To Lose More After I Have The Baby. I Just Hope I Dont Gain Anything

Your tool will work your whole life through--just stick to the healthy eating and healthy life style that you have learned through your tool.
Granted, it will become harder than immediately post op, but it isn't like your pouch is going to grow back to the football size it was, pre op. Your pouch will still be your pouch. You can sabotage it by going back to old eating patterns, but so long as you stick to your pouch rules, it will work.

If you want a baby, then for the moment, I think it best now to let your weight loss level out for the time being, so you won't be deficient in anything, and will be able to conceive a healthy baby.
