Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  I went to see a Plastic Surgeon.... I'm kinda bummed out because he told me since I plan to stay where I am at weight wise he would not recommend a tummy tuck as there "is not enough skin"  ok. i know there is worse but the fact that the flap causes the rawness and stench in my belly button is why i want it gone. it has nothing to do with wanting my stomach tight...though it would be nice  anyhow, he said he wouldnt recommend losing anymore (thank god) but that he wouldnt do it as i am??? its not "empty" enough   I am finally ok with showing you all whats going on in my stomach area.I have pics laying down and pics sitting up. The thing is, since some of you seem to insist that i have a "flat" stomach these pics are sure to burst your bubble  Here goes: HPIM1268.jpgHPIM1269.jpg HPIM1316.jpgHPIM1315.jpg Gross! so what do i do now? i think by the summer its gonna end up smelling like cheese in there. that's no way to snag my prince charming...

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | the skin isnt that bad, but the fold irritates my belly button which causes and odor and also underneath the big flap, like where my c- section scar is; that gets GROSS as well...i might resort to cutting it off myself LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | HAHAHAHAHA!!!! thtat was sweet. it honestly isnt for "cosmetics" so to speak. just in the flaps and folds stuff "festers" and its nasty. i guess i will shop around in terms of surgeons. the one i saw came recommended by the guy that did my bypass. but theres no harm in looking around i suppose....

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | K, I would DEFINITELY go for a second opinion. Your belly looks great by the way. I hope mine looks as good when I lose the 150 I need to lose.... But I can understand about the bellybutton and the flap irritations and odors. I TRULY UNDERSTAND. I am PARANOID about odor and make sure I keep the area under my belly dry and lotioned up. When it gets irritated, I itch and itch and thank God it hasn't gotten infected. I am scared to death once I lose all of this weight I will have issues. But this is not about me....go see another PS. If you have to so 10, keep going until you find one who will take into consideration your feelings and your needs. It's your body, you fought for GBS, now fight for PS. Complete your transformation.
