Oh my goodness! I cant believe how good you all are doing! I mean, I can believe, I am just very proud of you! Me - I quit my job, started a home daycare, am back in school for early childhood education and trying to get licensed! I am very busy to say the least. My daughter is 17 months now and says between 25-30 words, she signs over 35 words. Its just amazing being home with her and I can see the effects of having other children in our home (positive effects) on her, she is the best thing that ever happened to me. I am down 120 lbs now - have been for about a month. I havent really moved, but I know thats to be expected 6 months post op. I feel awesome and am doing quite well. So many people ask me how Ive lost all the weight, I tell them and they go on to tell me all the horror stories they've heard. I tell them, I dont have any horror stories, just follow what the docs say and do as you know you should and you should be OK. I have wireless internet on my laptop now so I can try to check in more frequently from my classroom/daycare room, its just a matter of getting a few moments to myself. Tina |
