Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Soda pop is basically a no-no. There is no nutritive value so it would be best to avoid. This is a struggle for me to. Someone mentioned filling a small cup then drinking it every 15 minutes till you get it all in. It is a challenge. If you dont like water, try crystal lite, sugar free tea, and the like. Also, dont forget that sugar free jello and sugar free popsicles help you get in your fluids. Good luck!

Now I haven't had my surgery yet, but this is what I've been told. No soda at all because of the carbonation..not even diet. Use a 1 ounce shot glass and drink the water every 10 minutes. Now that was for when I am first out of surgery, for the first several weeks, but maybe if you tried it, it would get you back in the habit of drinking.

I also bought these Special K protein water mixes.. you add them to a bottle of water and it adds flavor and protein to your regular water. I wanted them for the protein part since I think getting all my protein is going to be very hard in the begining.

just keep drinking, even when you don't want to.

You aren't a month out....and ANYTHING carbonated should be avoided.....

I have personally sworn of sodas for good...and I keep a bottle of water with me at all times...get one with the sport sip thing on it...it seems to help....

Soda is a total no no. Keep water with you at all times - is there a bottle or glass next to you now as you are reading? Set a timer and drink each time it goes off, if your watching tv, drink at every commercial, if you are on-line, drink after reading or posting each post....... You can do it, but NO MORE SODA!!!!

soda? wow...no soda. no caffeine. eat ice pops and popsicles ,and ice chips if you like them. your focus at a month out should be fluids and proteins NOTHING ELSE. not being hard on you just worried. please stay away from the no no's so early out.

I was having lots of trouble getting in my water to and than I found the crystal light and that has been my saving grace. I drink plenty of fluids now. I was just never one to drink water but I get a 20 ounce bottle and add one packet to it and in no time it seems like its gone and we do it again.

I DID dehydrate right after my surgery, they had me mix 1/2 unflavored Pedialite with 1/2 Gatorade, keep drinking this for 48 hours and you should be okay. I hope this helps you.
