Wink My check-up today

Well, I have to go see a cardiologist on Monday, the Orthostatic Hypotension is a probem that has to be checked out. I saw the surgeon's nurse today and she did not think that my weight loss is rapid enough anymore to be the problem behind me still having it. She said that plateaus were going to be more common, but she said for me to just pull out that pair of pants that I saved from before surgery, put them on when the plateau gets the better of me and stand in the mirror with them on and "have my time" and keep going forward. I think I will just live in them for awhile, hehehe. She told me to try and get MORE protein than I am, and that they think my goal weight should be 170 !!!!/???? I will wait and see, I remember feeling uncomfortable at 170 before. Other than the low blood pressure everthing else was good!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I think 170 sounds okay Traci -- sometimes those goal weights aren't realistic or very healthy -- having a little meat left on our bones is probably a good thing. My goal was to reach 150 (and yours is lower than that) and while I would still like to get to 150, I'd be okay if I just got to 170. Healthy is what it is all about now!

We started at the same weight - my goal is 130, i'm at 170 now. I'm 5'2, so i'm short! the weight loss does slow and you do hit plateus, but as long as you stick to program, you will be just fine! you have a whole life to live - enjoy the ride!!!

The whole goal weight is an interesting thought. I remember thinking when I started that just being under 200 was enough, then I thought I really wanted to get to 175. Now I'm close to that and I'm thinking, no, maybe 150..... I feel awesome and fit regular sizes now so really anything else is icing on the cake.....so to speak

you know traci I thought 150 was too high when my surgeon suggested it but then at 150 I felt like if I stopped there I'd be happy

I had what you have going on and still have periods of it. Stand up too quick and get the black spots and sometimes just lying down get the spins..But none of the tests showed anything going on besides some sometimes runs of PVC's. At that time my blood pressure would run pretty much 117/68 or sometimes lower than that..at this higher weight that is not the lowest weight the lower number stays in the 70's and I don't have those periods of the black spots when I stand up or anything like I used to..

also I started at 355...my very lowest was 155 and I was very thin with little body fat..but that was also with a very high rate of exercise. I think anymore some of the surgeon's are focusing on 'healthy size" and not so much "thin.tiny size" like they used to as it seems that often the too thin ones have a lot more health problems down the line.
